URBAN TO RETURN TO REHAB
LATEST: KEITH URBAN’s publicist has denied reports the country singer has finished rehabilitation, insisting he will resume treatment following his Christmas holiday with wife NICOLE KIDMAN.
Urban has been seeking treatment for alcohol abuse in the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs, California since October (06), but took time out to spend the Yuletide season with Kidman in Sydney, Australia.
The 39-year-old star’s trip Down Under prompted reports he had finished rehab, but his publicist PAUL FREUNDLICH maintains Urban’s battles are ongoing.
Freundlich says, "Keith is on a leave in Australia to be with his family during the holidays. This is a natural occurrence at this point in his treatment. He will continue with his rehab upon his return." The Christmas visit is the first time Urban has visited Sydney since he wed Kidman in the harbour city in June (06).
