Television bosses have rubbished a report DAVID TENNANT is to leave DOCTOR WHO, insisting the actor is "committed" to the cult British TV show.
UK newspaper The Sun today (28DEC06) claimed Tennant is to quit Doctor Who next year (07), midway through the fourth series of the BBC show.
However, a BBC spokeswoman has dismissed the report as the actor is currently filming the programme’s third series and that any plans for a fourth series are yet to be confirmed.
She says, "When a further series is commissioned, we will be able to confirm his involvement."
