The most popular BRITNEY SPEARS fan website WorldOfBritney.com is closing after its owner declared the controversial pop star is "done".
RUBEN GARAY, who has hosted WorldOfBritney.com since October 2000, yesterday (27DEC06) announced the site will no longer exist after 31 January (07) because the singer is "losing her identity and credibility with fans and industry people".
Garay says, "I still and will always respect Britney as a human being, we are just choosing to not go on with this site…
"I think that WoB has had its run. Its feet are not holding firm anymore, not because of my ability to run it, but because I believe Britney is unfortunately done (for me at least)." JAMIE FOXX has tested out his stand-up comedy routine on movie extras ever since he saw ROBIN WILLIAMS do so when shooting the 1992 film TOYS.
The Oscar winner believes the diverse mix of people working on Hollywood product makes movie sets the best place to try out new material.
He tells the New York Daily News, "A long time ago, I had a few lines in Robin Williams’ film Toys, and during breaks he would grab the mic and try his stand-up comedy out on 50 extras.
"It gives us a real chance to work as comics and to test your material on people from all different places in the world."

Television bosses have rubbished a report DAVID TENNANT is to leave DOCTOR WHO, insisting the actor is "committed" to the cult British TV show.
UK newspaper The Sun today (28DEC06) claimed Tennant is to quit Doctor Who next year (07), midway through the fourth series of the BBC show.
However, a BBC spokeswoman has dismissed the report as the actor is currently filming the programme’s third series and that any plans for a fourth series are yet to be confirmed.
She says, "When a further series is commissioned, we will be able to confirm his involvement."

Filmmaker MEL GIBSON has dismissed claims his movies are excessively violent, insisting they only appear that way because of their detailed characterisation.
Gibson, whose controversial projects include THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST and his new APOCALYPTO, lays the blame with Hollywood product starring action heroes such as JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME.
He says, "Everybody likes to beat up on me for the violence but I think people think it’s more violent because I fool them into caring for the characters.
"When it matters, when they give a s**t, it seems more violent. When you’re watching Jean-Claude whatever his name is, you don’t give a s**t. If you watch TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE PART 4, you don’t care about the pimply teenager on the meathook because you don’t know who he is."

The husband of Indian TV star and former model RASHMI SHARMA has been arrested in Mumbai after she accused him of mental and physical torture.
SANJAY SHARMA, 40, was detained by police at the city’s airport on 20 December (06) following his wife’s accusations.
He has been remanded in police custody until Saturday (30DEC06).
The couple married in 2003.

CASINO ROYALE is officially the most successful JAMES BOND movie of all time, after passing the $454 million (£233 million) mark at the global box office.

Former PARTRIDGE FAMILY star DANNY BONADUCE is terrified for his life after speaking out in support of US President GEORGE W BUSH earlier this month (DEC06).
The actor has been forced to alert the FBI after receiving a string of death threats following an impromptu video interview which portrayed him as a advocate of the war in Iraq. It was subsequently circulated on file sharing website YouTube.com.
Bonaduce claims he’s been flooded with hate mail, and even his 12-year-old daughter’s online social networking site has been targetted with images of maimed Iraqi children.
He tells the New York Daily News, "If (the interviewer) had personally offended me or I got death threats and I didn’t have children, I would have tracked him down and kicked his skull in, and that would have been the end of that.
"But I have children, and you can’t behave like that anymore." The interviewer, known only as ‘9/11 Truther’, runs an extremist website accusing Bush of Satanism, among other things.
He denies any connection to the death threats, maintaining, "I think (Bonaduce’s) delusional. And if you’re going to quote me, it’s a ‘drug-damaged mind’."

American rockers SYSTEM OF A DOWN insist they are not splitting up - but admit the band has an uncertain musical future.
JOHN DOLMAYAN, DARON MALAKIAN, SERJ TANKIAN and SHAVO ODADJIAN announced their hiatus from the band earlier this year (06) to work on separate projects.
And frontman Tankian believes the break was long overdue.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE enjoy their ongoing feud with a British tabloid newspaper because the press coverage has boosted their popularity.
The band were singled out by the Daily Mail earlier this year (06) when the publication accused them of promoting self-harm and suicide among teenagers.
Frontman GERARD WAY believes the paper is "ignorant", but concedes the row has worked wonders for My Chemical Romance record sales.

LATEST: JAMES BROWN’s widow is desperate to turn the soul star’s home into a museum for devoted fans, maintaining the singer "wanted a Graceland".
TOMI RAE HYNIE, 36, was locked out of Brown’s home by his lawyers following his unexpected Christmas Day (25DEC06) death. They insist her 2001 marriage was illegitimate because she was already the wife of a Pakistani man she met in Texas in 1997 at the time.

The soul legend’s agent FRANK COPSIDAS confirms he was keen for the memorial.

LATEST: Details of late soul legend JAMES BROWN’s funeral have been finalised, with his widow confirming she’ll accompany his body until he is buried on Saturday (30DEC06).
TOMI RAE HYNIE’s attendance at the string of memorial services being held in the singer’s honour was thrown in doubt when Brown’s lawyers locked her out of his South Carolina estate after his death on Christmas Day (25DEC06).
They maintain her marriage to the star - his fourth - was invalid because she was married to another man at the time.
However, Hynie insists she’ll look after her late partner in death, just as she did while he was still living, despite the allegations.
She tells the New York Daily News, "I loved him very much. I cared for him, I gave him insulin shots for 10 years. He was the love of my life and I want to be able to grieve for my husband.
"The whole family will be at all the services. We have all had a say in the funeral arrangements and we are all grieving." A horse-drawn procession will carry Brown’s body to the Apollo Theater in New York today (28DEC06) for a public viewing.
A private ceremony for family and friends will follow in Brown’s Augusta, Georgia hometown tomorrow (29DEC06) before a public funeral service there on Saturday.

The ‘Cold Mountain’ star and the country singer have been seen together in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, following Urban’s release from rehab.
A source said: "Nicole looked radiant. She was beaming and her skin was aglow. They looked very in love and happy to be together." Urban checked into rehab in October to be treated for alcohol and drug addiction at California’s Betty Ford clinic just four months after their wedding.
It is the 39-year-old singer’s first visit to Sydney since the couple married there in June this year.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: "Keith is the love of her life and supporting him hasn’t been easy.

"They are both trying their hardest to make things work.
"Hopefully this will be a chance for them to spend some quality time together."
