Rudolph hotdog
A US hotdog vendor is offering a special treat for the festive season - reindeer sausages.
Owner Fred Markoff decided to introduce the unusual snack after tasting reindeer meat a few years ago in Alaska.
The mobile eatery, in Chicago, is selling the hotdogs - which Markoff has called reindogs - for $8 each.
Markoff has revealed he adds beef and pork to the snack because reindeer meat is very dry.
The hotdog stand has in the past offered hotdogs made from alligator meat.
