The CHARLIE’S ANGELS star insists she’s already got everything she needs, but any presents she does receive have to be functional.
She says, "Most of us are way past the point of needing anything else in our lives materialistically.
"Anything I get, I hope it is useful and something I can have for a long time. I told my family not to get me anything."

GWYNETH PALTROW’s actress mum BLYTHE DANNER loves London at Christmas because it reminds her of childhood holidays.
Danner visited her daughter and her family in London last year (05) and will be doing the same this year (06) and she just can’t wait for the English capital to turn into a winter wonderland of carollers and polite taxi drivers.
She explains, "I love London. Last Christmas I was there and I couldn’t get over it; I felt like I was back in my childhood (in New York) because there were carollers coming to the house.
"Once in a while you’d get a group of carollers in the states but, in London, I had at least six or seven sets of carollers coming to our door.
"I had at least six or seven taxi drivers dressed as gentlemen who were playing Christmas music and waited for me to get in the house. This feels like how I grew up as a girl; it was very civilized. I loved it."

Actress ELLEN BARKIN urges parents to get their children involved with local charities at Christmas - because the gift of yourself is the best you can give.
The SEA OF LOVE star admits she has always been a big fan of giving time to causes at Christmas and she does her best to encourage her own children to get involved.
She says, "My children have two parents who, I guess, really do care about the world and hopefully they will see that and bring that into their own lives.
"You can go to a soup kitchen, do anything you can. There are places all over this country. You just pick up the phone and say, ‘How can I help?’ and you’ll get an answer.
"I tell that to my kids. I say, ‘Pick up the phone and call City Meals on Wheels if that’s what you’re interested in.’ They’ll put you to work.
"People don’t do enough of that. I think we can all help and a little bit does go a long way."

The disorganised actress admits she’s a terrible Christmas shopper, so this year she decided to use the world wide web to help her complete her Christmas list.
But now she fears people won’t like what she’s bought them.
She explains, "I did shopping online which I’ve never done before… I don’t know if this stuff is gonna show up and be hideous. I’m not even going to open it.
"I just ordered it and then had it wrapped and then I’m just getting it sent straight to the people and they can deal with whether it’s nice or not."

Denton gave up on the idea of shopping for presents after a trip to the mall turned into a fight to get through fans of his hit TV show - and so he turned to the internet and Redford’s Sundance store.
He says, "I’ve always resisted online shopping because I’m a control freak and I don’t like giving my credit card number, and all that, but I broke down and I’m addicted now.
"My favourite site is Robert Redford’s Sundance catalogue out in Utah. It’s got everything, it’s mainly women’s clothes and boots and jewellery but there’s also furniture and stuff for your house.

The SAHARA star is filming new movie FOOL’S GOLD with KATE HUDSON in Australia and the schedule is so tight he won’t be able to fly back home for the holidays.
So he’s spending Christmas Day with his second family Down Under.
He says, "I haven’t seen them in 19 years. When I left, they had five daughters and one granddaughter, and now they’ve got five daughters and 12 grandchildren." But McConaughey hasn’t forgotten his family back home in Texas - he’s giving everyone headlamps.

GOOD WILL HUNTING director GUS VAN SANT was arrested early on Thursday morning (21DEC06) for drink driving in Portland, Oregon.
Van Sant, 54, was stopped by police in Portland at 1:48 am (local time) and booked into the Multnomah County jail.
Officers pulled him over after they spotted him driving his 2006 Porsche Cayenne Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) down a street with no headlights on and after seeing him accelerate sharply after stopping at a red light.
SERGEANT BRIAN SCHMAUTZ, the spokesman for Portland Police Bureau, says, "He had glassy, watery, red eyes, slurred speech, and smelled strongly of alcohol." A breath test showed a blood-alcohol level of 0.19 per cent, which is more than twice the state limit of 0.08 per cent.
Van Sant, who lives in Portland, was nominated for an Academy Award for 1997’s Good Will Hunting and has also directed DRUGSTORE COWBOY and MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO.
Van Sant was charged with misdemeanour DUI and will appear in court on 17 January (07).

The Hollywood actor will hand over the prestigious accolade to the band - Noel Gallagher, Liam Gallagher, Gem Archer and Andy Bell - at the star-studded ceremony to be held at London’s Earls Court on February 14 2007.

Getting Oasis is amazing enough but they needed to have someone iconic to present the award to them, now they’ve got that someone. Next year’s ceremony is going to be broadcast live so the organisers have gone for huge names to spice it up." Johnny became friends with guitarist Noel in the 90s after meeting through their then girlfriends Kate Moss, who dated Johnny, and Meg Matthews, who was with Noel.
The pair, along with Liam, became such close pals the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor was invited to play slide guitar on the track ‘Fade In-Out’ which features on Oasis’ 1997 album ‘Be Here Now’.
Oasis will close the ceremony with a selection of their classic hits.
Other acts being lined up to perform include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Scissor Sisters, Take That and Razorlight.
