Veteran filmmaker CARL REINER is to be made an Honorary Life Member by the Directors Guild Of America (DGA) at the organisation’s annual ceremony in February (07).
Reiner will collect his honour at the 59th DGA Awards on 3 February at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
The 84-year-old, best known for working on TV shows including THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW and for movies such as THE MAN WITH TWO BRAINS, has hosted the annual event for the last 20 years.
