The music producer BRITNEY SPEARS was romantically linked with is now developing his own reality show to capitalise on the publicity surrounding their relationship.
JONATHAN ‘JR’ ROTEM and Spears were photographed kissing and cuddling on 10 December (06) in Los Angeles and have also collaborated on her new album.
The two haven’t been seen together since, but Rotem is now shopping around a reality TV show based on his life and recruiting a crew to help him shoot the pilot episode.
Rotem, who has worked with RIHANNA, 50 CENT and DESTINY’S CHILD, may have trouble getting anyone on board - there is no pay involved.

LATEST: JESSICA SIMPSON has asked producers to pull her portion of a tribute to DOLLY PARTON at the Kennedy Center Honors out of the upcoming televised show.
Simpson drew unwanted attention earlier this month (DEC06) when she flubbed the words to Parton’s song 9 TO 5 during a taping and grew flustered and fled the stage.
Producers gave her a second chance to sing the song, but after she saw a tape, she requested that the second attempt be pulled from the show, which airs on 26 December (06) on US network CBS.
Simpson’s spokeswoman, CINDI BERGER says, "She really wasn’t happy with her performance and she did want it to be perfect for Dolly, who she idolises." Besides Parton, the Washington DC tribute honours SIR ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, ZUBIN MEHTA, SMOKEY ROBINSON and STEVEN SPIELBERG.
The show’s producer, GEORGE STEVENS JR adds, "We appreciate the time and energy Ms Simpson put into this event and respect the high standards she has for herself and that of the Kennedy Center honors."

Celebrity chef WOLFGANG PUCK and his fiancee, handbag designer GELILA ASSEFA, welcomed their second child on Monday (18DEC06).
The baby boy weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces (3.26 kilograms) and was born at 12:59 pm (local time) in Los Angeles.
Puck’s representative, CLARE DAVIS, tells American publication People, "Wolfgang and Gelila are overjoyed to welcome to their family ALEXANDER WOLFGANG PUCK.
"Mother and child are still recovering at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles." This is the second son for Puck, 57, and Assefa, 37. The couple’s first child, OLIVER, was born in July 2005.
Puck also has two sons from his first marriage to business partner BARBARA LAZAROFF.
The Austrian-born chef owns the new Beverly Hills steakhouse Cut and has restaurants around the world.

Gay designer STEFANO GABBANA is against the idea of same sex couples becoming parents, because he believes children need both a mother and a father.
Gabbana insists taking a child away from its mother is "cruel" and that he will never adopt, although a female friend recently agreed to become the surrogate mother of his child through artificial insemination.
He says, "I am opposed to the idea of a child growing up with two gay parents. A child needs a mother and a father.
"I could not imagine my childhood without my mother. I also believe that it is cruel to take a baby away from its mother."

Author JK ROWLING has selected a title for the seventh book in the HARRY POTTER series and is challenging fans to visit her website to play a game of hangman to find out what it is.
The book is the finale to her phenomenally popular fantasy series and is the world’s most anticipated children’s book.
Rowling is still working on the book, and posted a message on her website today (21DEC06), explaining,"I’m now writing scenes that have been planned, in some cases, for a dozen years or even more.
"I don’t think anyone who has not been in a similar situation can possibly know how this feels: I am alternately elated and overwrought. I both want, and don’t want, to finish this book (don’t worry, I will)." For those who can’t wait to visit the website and find out what the new title is, Rowling’s US publisher, Scholastic, Inc. announced that it will be called HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS.

Oscar-winner RENEE ZELLWEGER desperately tried to avoid questions about her quick divorce from country music star KENNY CHESNEY during an appearance on LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN last night (20DEC06).
The CHICAGO star married Chesney in May 2005 after meeting at tsunami relief benefit concert in January 2005 and had the marriage annulled just four months later.
When Letterman said, "Can we talk about your marriage to Kenny Chesney a little bit?" Zellweger quipped sarcastically, "I thought you’d never ask!" The host then said, "Did you kids really try?" Zellweger appeared visibly uncomfortable and said, "It’s ok, baby, I can take it. C’mon, let’s go. I’m ready!" The star kept trying to avoid the questions, with Letterman asking about the current state of their relationship saying, "Are you still friends with him?" Zellweger said, "Yes, I am still friends with him. Not you, anymore, now we’re done! Oh, no, it’s all over now. I mean we had a good thing going for years here." When he asked if she had started dating again, she said tentatively, "I like to say I’m not single, I’m just real busy.
"I know all the guys in the different frequent flyer clubs around the world.
I know them and they’re all real nice to me!"

LATEST: LOST star EVANGELINE LILLY and boyfriend DOMINIC MONAGHAN returned to her rented home last night (20DEC06) to sift through the remains of her home which burned to the ground yesterday.
The rented home in Kailua, Hawaii, which Lilly shared with two female crewmembers, was engulfed in flames in the early morning, which destroyed the entire building in 30 minutes.
Lilly was shooting the hit show at the time of the fire and no one was injured in the blaze.
The couple didn’t arrive at the scene until just after sunset and came armed with flashlights and gloves.
The pair sifted through the rubble and managed to salvage a few personal items.
Although it had been an emotional day for the star, who plays KATE AUSTEN on the show, she managed to smile for photographers who were at the scene.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE rocker RAY TORO once pushed his vow to never stop playing during a concert to the limit - when a collision with bandmate FRANK IERO left his face soaked in his own blood.
The US band were midway through a gig when the unfortunate clash occurred.
Toro says, "I think we were in Ohio doing a show. We used to be wilder back in the day and Frankie accidentally hit me on the head with his guitar. He cut me open across my forehead.
"I kept playing and playing and I felt this wet liquid running down my head.
I thought it was sweat but the guitar technician was staring at me so I started looking around at the other guys and their eyes were wide open to the point where they almost stopped playing.
"My face was covered in blood. It looked a lot worse than it actually was.
"(But) the one thing we always try and go by is no matter what we never stop the show."

A source told People magazine: "Britney has moved in. She is our neighbour now." The new luxury property has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, swimming pool, library, media room and a terrace offering amazing views of Los Angeles.

The ‘Hung Up’ singer’s controversial adoption of Malawi baby David Banda has already put a strain on the pair’s relationship and now her insistence on adopting a baby girl from the impoverished country is proving too much for her director husband.
Guy’s father, John Ritchie, told Britain’s Grazia magazine: "They’ve had a difficult time. David is very beautiful and Guy is very good with him. But I don’t think he’d want to adopt again.

A source said: "Madonna wants to get things moving. If she makes up her mind about something wild horses can’t stop her.

She said: "Madonna knows very well that she adopted from a country without legal adoption, so it was an unusual situation."

The 25-year-old also has a pair of pink dice on her left wrist to match the blue dice her estranged husband Kevin Federline has on his right forearm.
Britney’s wild behaviour since her split from Kevin has concerned record bosses.
Last week, she was advised to end her friendship with Paris Hilton if she wanted to save her music career.
The ‘Toxic’ singer has enjoyed a series of late nights with Paris since filing for divorce.
She has also been photographed on four occasions without underwear and last Tuesday (12.12.06) Britney flashed her nipples in a see-through white lace top and no bra as she stumbled out of Los Angeles nightclub Element.

"They don’t have one in New York City, so they brought it in special from New Jersey, and the cupcakes spelled out ‘Happy Birthday Dakota’.
"I walked into lunch, and they had all these pamphlets with pandas on them.

RAY CHARLES’ original Los Angeles studios will be turned into a memorial library in the music legend’s name with new equipment so musicians can compose songs at the site.
The studios, now a cultural landmark, were set to become a Ray Charles Museum, but the musician’s foundation opted to make the site a library instead.
Groundbreaking for the renovations to the library will take place on 25 January (07) and are expected to be completed early in 2008.
Charles’ former manager JAY ADAMS says, "This building was Ray Charles’ home for 40 years. For Ray, music was his life.
"He often said music was like blood in his veins and this library will be a tribute to the man, his beloved neighbourhood and to the world." Charles died on 10 June 2004, at the age of 73.
