Soul singer PATTI LaBELLE cancelled the remaining dates on her gospel tour of the US yesterday (18DEC06), citing differences with her promoter.
The 62-year-old has postponed dates in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Cleveland, Ohio; and St Louis, Missouri, but is planning to return as soon when she finds a new promoter to join her sponsors.
She says, "I really had hoped to continue to reach the gospel audience as we had originally planned." She began The Gospel According To Patti tour in October (06).
