JAMELIA MAKES UP WITH COWELL
LATEST: Music mogul SIMON COWELL has apologised to British pop star JAMELIA after he called her a "one-hit wonder".
Jamelia upset Cowell when she was quoted as saying his talent show protegee LEONA LEWIS sounded like "MARIAH CAREY circa 1990".
In response, Cowell fumed, "My advice would be to have a second hit and then you can have an opinion." However, Jamelia insists she has nothing but positive things to say about the 21-year-old Londoner, who won a recording contract on British show THE X FACTOR last Saturday (16OCT06).
Jamelia says, "I did not say anything against Leona.
"Simon Cowell was very silly believing what he read about what I had apparently said. But he called me and apologised for what he said."
