ALICIA KEYS was stunned when she heard BOB DYLAN had namechecked her in one of the songs on his acclaimed new album MODERN TIMES - and she’s still struggling to figure out why her.
Dylan mentions Keys on the song THUNDER ON THE MOUNTAIN and she has been in musical heaven ever since.
She explains, "I could not believe it. The first person who told me about it was JOHN MAYER. He said, ‘You’re never gonna believe this but I just heard that Dylan has your name in his song.’ "I was totally not expecting it but then I couldn’t wait to hear it because it wasn’t coming out for a while.
"It’s such a big honour because Dylan’s such a lyrical genius and storyteller with so much history. As a writer myself, I admire him. I thanked him greatly."
