Property pistol
A Texas real estate agent is offering free guns to anyone who buys a home from her.
Julie Upton, from Houston, has placed an advertisement in the city’s police department magazine ‘Badge and Gun’ offering a free pistol with the purchase of any home worth more than $150,000.
Upton explained: "We thought it would be a good way to entice other police officers. And whether people want the gun or not, it has stirred up a lot of attention." So far Upton has given away two pistols worth $500.
A license is not required to own a rifle, shotgun or rifle in Texas.
However, a permit is needed to carry a concealed weapon.
