Forgetful thief
An Austrian bank robber was arrested after he left his account card at the branch.
The robber, who was brandishing a knife, had left his card behind after checking his balance just before he held the bank up.
A bank clerk found the card, which belonged to a 32-year-old former policeman from Serbia, and handed it over to police.
The unnamed man was arrested after reporting his card was lost when he tried to deposit £9,600 into his account to reduce his overdraft.
The robber has been sentenced to four years in jail.
