GIRLS ALOUD singer NICOLA ROBERTS has dumped her long-term boyfriend CARL EGERTON, blaming the split on her hectic work schedule.
The SOUND OF THE UNDERGROUND star dated Egerton for five years, and was going out with him before finding fame on British TV show POPSTARS: THE RIVALS in 2002.
But, with the singer keeping busy away from home, the pair have grown apart over the last two years.
The 21-year-old is now the second singleton in the girl band, along with new Ultimo underwear model, SARAH HARDING.
