Blind drunk
A virtually blind New Zealand man was forced to the take the wheel of a car because the driver was drunk.
Te Aute Matuakore Collier, who has just five per cent sight was guided by a drunk passenger but crashed into a wall.
The 29-year-old - who has now been banned from driving - had been travelling in the back of the car when he told the drunken driver to pull over so he could take control because it was not safe.
The front-seat passenger - who was also under the influence of alcohol - helped Collier to steer the car and both passengers told him to turn into a supermarket carpark.
He told police he just wanted to get the car off the road and park it - but he missed the entrance and hit a wall.
