BRITNEY SPEARS has once again raised eyebrows after she was seen carrying a glass of wine to her car after a dinner and driving off to meet pals at a nightclub.
The TOXIC singer was spotted walking to her vehicle with a glass of wine on 28 November (06), after dining at Dan Tana’s restaurant in West Hollywood.
She handed the wine to an assistant before climbing behind the wheel and driving to meet up with friends at Hollywood hot spot Hyde.
Spears’ partying since breaking up with husband KEVIN FEDERLINE could jeopardise her petition for sole custody of sons SEAN, 15 months, and JAYDEN, three months.
A source close to Federline tells American publication Us Weekly government authorities could get involved: "They’re not watching Britney, but all it takes is one phone call and they will be.
"It doesn’t help that she’s leaving clubs with wine glasses."

LINDSAY LOHAN’s mother DINA has flown to Los Angeles to keep an eye on her daughter’s hard-partying ways.
Although the 20-year-old MEAN GIRLS star is not legally allowed to drink in California, she has regularly been spotted out at Hollywood nightclubs and recently admitted she is attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
Dina Lohan tells American publication Star, "I’m out here for my child, but it’s a really, really scary place for these kids out here, and a lot goes on. I needed to come see for myself this whole scene.
"(Lindsay) is my child and I’m here to make sure she’s OK, and everything, and going in the right direction. I’m here to support her and keep an eye on this situation closely.
"She needed me to see what she sees everyday - her world." Dina is desperate for her daughter to return to her roots on the East Coast adding, "I wish she would move back to New York. I want her out of here.
"The weather’s beautiful. But these kids, it’s just a dangerous place."

LEONARDO DiCAPRIO mastered the South African slang for his new film BLOOD DIAMOND by spending boozy nights with locals in neighbouring Mozambique.
The movie star has won acclaim for his accent in the new movie, which is earning him Oscar buzz, and he admits he achieved it by getting South African pals drunk.
He explains, "It was a matter of going there at least a month beforehand and spending a lot of time with South African mercenaries, getting to know their sort of alien language and picking up their slang and it’s literally on the other side of the world, so it took awhile but thank God I had a lot of people that helped me out.
"I also started hanging out with the South African dudes to get the slang down, which is why you’ve got to get them drunk and then they really start cursing and telling you the stories and speaking in their correct tongue."

Civil war scenes in LEONARDO DiCAPRIO’s new movie BLOOD DIAMOND was so realistic, locals in Mozambique were convinced they were in the middle of a real uprising.
The film stirred up local feeling to such an extent that DiCaprio and the film’s producers had to meet with officials and explain what was going on.
The TITANIC star says, "A lot of the local people there when we were doing some of these major action sequences thought there was some new civil strife or war reoccurring.
"They didn’t understand the concept that a movie was going on. The people involved in the movie, I felt, really understood we were making a movie that was important and they were able to separate that from reality.
"The African crew just became involved in the storyline and what we were doing immediately and they felt like we were doing something good."

Pop star CHRISTINA AGUILERA is set to ring in 2007 with a live performance in Times Square in New York City.
The BEAUTIFUL singer will join fellow stars including FERGIE, MEAT LOAF and RBD for DICK CLARK’s NEW YEAR’S ROCKIN’ EVE 2007 show.

Newlyweds TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES are planning another wedding party to take place this weekend (09DEC06).
The couple tied the knot last month (NOV06) in Italy and the party is for friends and family who were not able to make the trip overseas.
Cruise’s representative has confirmed to American publication Us Weekly that the bash will take place on Saturday (09DEC06) at Cruise’s producing partner PAULA WAGNER’s mansion in Beverly Hills.
The pair have just returned from a 13-day honeymoon in the Maldives aboard the luxury yacht Arctic P.
They sailed around the islands along with their seven-month-old daughter SURI, an onboard doctor for the baby and a spa therapist.
A source says, "It was a family occasion. They played with Suri all the time, filming her on a camcorder." On Thanksgiving (23NOV06), the group visited Fesdu Island resort where, says a source, "They sunbathed by the pool, read philosophy books and went snorkeling in the lagoon.

Rocker COURTNEY LOVE insists she is the reason socialite PARIS HILTON was arrested for drink-driving in September (06).
The 25-year-old was stopped by police after leaving a Hollywood party and arrested for driving under the influence with a reported blood-alcohol level of at least 0.08 per cent.
Love came to Hilton’s defence at the Billboard Music Awards on Monday night (04DEC06), which Hilton backed out of hosting at the last minute, and revealed she was behind the arrest.
Love tells E! News, "Paris is my friend. She’s really well-mannered. When she got arrested that night for DUI it was because we were drag racing. I don’t want to pass judgment on anybody." The STARS ARE BLIND singer could be sentenced to six months in jail and fined $1,000 (£515) for the incident.

US comedienne KATHY GRIFFIN had a mid-air scare on a flight to a show recently when a light bulb burned out in an airplane toilet, forcing pilots to make an emergency landing.
The redhead comic feared she was plummeting to her death as the cabin of her private plane started filling up with smoke, and pilots attempted to get the craft on the ground as quickly as possible.
Speaking of her terror on CNN show LARRY KING LIVE last night (05DEC06), Griffin recalled, "I’m going from Burbank (airport in California)… to a gig I have in Stockton (northern California)… and it’s just me and the only (other) passenger is my tour manager.
"About 15 minutes into the flight… I think I smell a little smoke. But I’m thinking I’m imagining it. I’m not like a panicky type… (but) a couple of minutes later, I really smell the strong smell of smoke… Within about five seconds, the cabin filled with smoke, visible smoke.
"The plane just sort of started plummeting… It was like an air show, where it was really going from one side to the other and the glass was breaking and the soda cans were exploding and, even though I had seat belts on, you know, I was about two feet above the seat.
"We landed back in Burbank and the fire trucks were waiting for me, which is sort of not a good sign… and, for a minute, I thought, ‘Oh, there must be another plane that’s having trouble…’ (and then), ‘Oh, it’s my plane.’ "I was shaking and stuff. And I felt, ‘Well, should I call my parents?’ And I thought, ‘No, I don’t want to leave that message.’" Griffin commends the plane staff for remaining calm throughout the ordeal, but feels she should have been better compensated for her scare - she was offered "a deal" on her next flight.
She adds, "I really thought they were going to just give me the plane."

Polish actor LEON NIEMCZYK, who starred in director ROMAN POLANSKI’s KNIFE IN THE WATER and hundreds of other films, has died. He was 82.
Niemczyk died on 29 November (06) of lung cancer at his home in Lodz, the Polish news agency PAP has reported.
The actor, who was considered a master of supporting roles, starred in more than 400 movies in Poland and in numerous foreign films, including this year’s DAVID LYNCH movie INLAND EMPIRE.
He made a name for himself in Polanksi’s first feature film, 1962’s Knife In The Water, playing ANDRZEJ, a bored, ambitious man and remained active until recently.
During World War II, he fought the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, an ill-fated attempt to overthrow Nazi rule and after the war briefly served in the US Army in occupied Germany before returning to communist-ruled Poland.
A later attempt to flee was thwarted, landing him in prison. He remained a critic of the communist rule, a stance which is believed to have cost him leading roles for four decades.

LATEST: PRISON BREAK star LANE GARRISON drank "several shots" of vodka at a party before driving a Land Rover that crashed, killing 17-year-old VAHAGN SETIAN and injuring two 15-year-old girls.
Five eyewitness have come forward to say the actor arrived at the party with the teenagers and opened a bottle of Grey Goose vodka and started downing shots.
According to entertainment news website TMZ.com, several eyewitness also say photographs were taken of Garrison consuming the alcohol.
This contradicts statements made by the actor’s attorney, HARLAND BRAUN, who said Garrison had only consumed one drink at the party and that he doubted his client was drunk while he was driving.
Sources say when the alcohol at the party was running low, Garrison agreed to drive out and buy more and took Setian and the two girls with him.
After four hours had passed, concerned friends set out to find the group and drove to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after learning about the accident.
Beverly Hills police said on Tuesday (05DEC06) it could take up to eight weeks to determine whether charges would be sought against the star.
Lieutenant MITCH McCANN said it would take that long for detectives to interview witnesses and to complete lab work and a crash analysis.

Singer/actress JENNIFER LOPEZ is thrilled with the success of her fragrance line because it allows her to raise money to make her own films.
The IF YOU HAD MY LOVE singer launched her range of perfumes four years ago and has enjoyed global sales of more than $500 million (£256 million).
She explains, "I never thought my perfumes would do so well. The whole perfume thing has been great because it’s creative, but at the same time you can make a little bit of money doing it.
"I bankrolled BORDERTOWN, EL CANTANTE and the Spanish album. Artists don’t make a ton of money from CD sales. The record company makes most of the money.
"Interestingly, at the end of the day, El Cantante, Bordertown and the Spanish album could turn out to make no money, and it was out of my own pocket." Lopez even says should her other projects fail, her fragrance line will have always been a stunning success.
She adds, "Yes, I’ll always have the perfume. The fact that it allows me to make the creative choices I have, now, that’s really the sweet smell of success."

ELVIS PRESLEY’s diamond and platinum wedding ring is set to be auctioned off to the highest bidder when it goes under the hammer in Hollywood.
The King’s ring will be one item in a cache of movie and TV memorabilia sold off at the Profiles In History auction house on 14 and 15 December (06).
The wedding ring, which is decorated with eight baguette-cut diamonds within a border of 16 diamonds, is expected to fetch between $100,000 (£51,280) and $150,000 (£77,000) when it goes under the hammer next week.
Profiles In History owner JOE MADDALENA says, "This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a true piece of pop culture history." Former adult film actress KENDRA JADE has slammed reports she had an affair with KEVIN FEDERLINE while he was still married to pop star BRITNEY SPEARS.
Media reports claim the two met in Las Vegas in December 2005, while Spears was visiting her family in Louisiana, and began an affair in October (06) - one month before Spears filed for divorce.

British model KATIE PRICE is stunned to find herself pregnant for a third time, because she and husband PETER ANDRE have been too busy to conceive.
Price - formerly known as JORDAN - yesterday (05DEC06) announced she is expecting her second child with Andre. She already has two sons, four-year-old HARVEY from her relationship with soccer star DWIGHT YORKE, and 18-month-old JUNIOR, with Andre.
But Price is amazed she’s been able to conceive, because the couple has been too busy recording, releasing and promoting a new charity album of love songs to have sex.
She says, "I said to Pete it must have been a bloody fluke because we’ve been so busy lately we haven’t had much time to get down to it.

FOREST WHITAKER loved filming new movie THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND - because it gave him the chance to connect with his past.
The star, who plays Ugandan dictator IDI AMIN in the biopic, spent three years researching his family tree before he landed the role.
Whitaker was so determined to find his ancestors, he had a DNA test to discover which African tribes he is descended from, and studied the movement of slaves from the corresponding regions with the help of shipping logs for further insight.
He says, "(Getting the part of Amin) was a big deal for me. Big deal.
"This movie came at a perfect time. It gave me a sense of myself. It helped me understand colonialism in a more organic way, and it helped me explore my ancestry."
