WINSLET EMBARRASSED BY SWAYZE CRUSH
A teenage KATE WINSLET convinced herself she was PATRICK SWAYZE’s one true love - but is too embarrassed to recount the tale to the DIRTY DANCING star.
The TITANIC actress fell for the star aged 14, but has admitted she would never tell Swayze of her lovelorn yearning.
She says, "It (the crush) was huge! I’d seen him in Dirty Dancing and just fell in love. It was the most ridiculous little crush, and I was truly convinced I would meet him and he’d say, ‘You’re the person I’ve been waiting for all my life.’ I was only 14 years old.
"So I’ve never been able to tell him about this, and I think it’s probably better I don’t. It would be way too embarrassing for the poor man!"
