NAS OFFERS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO DEAD MAN’S FAMILY
LATEST: Rapper NAS and US basketball star CHRIS WEBBER are to hand over "a substantial amount" to the family of slain New Yorker SEAN BELL after being told the dead man’s funeral costs have already been taken care of.
Outspoken Nas has already blasted the New York cops who opened fire on the unarmed 23-year-old and his passengers after he reversed into an unmarked patrol car, and has offered to pay for Bell’s funeral.
His generosity was matched by that of TYRA BANKS’ ex-boyfriend Webber, but both philanthropists were told the National Association For The Advancement Of Colored People (NAACP) had already made arrangements to cover the costs.
Instead, Nas and Webber will provide financial assistance to Bell’s fiancee and the couple’s two children.
