CRUISE AND HOLMES CUT SHORT HONEYMOON
Newlyweds TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES have been forced to end their honeymoon after tropical storms hit the Indian Ocean paradise where they’ve been island-hopping on a luxury yacht.
The Hollywood couple have been staying on The Arctic P, a 285-foot (87-metre) converted ice-breaker, since their Italian wedding last month (18NOV06), but incessant rain and wind around the Maldives has ended their trip early. Holmes is also reported to be upset Cruise invited his best man, Scientology leader DAVID MISCAVIGE, to join them on the honeymoon.
The couple and their seven-month-old daughter SURI boarded a private jet at the Maldives’ Male International airport yesterday (01DEC06) to return to their home in the Hollywood Hills.
