Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:36 pm

Movie mogul MARTIN SCORSESE is going back in time to medieval France to develop a movie adaptation of ERIC JAGER’s novel THE LAST DUEL: A TRUE STORY OF CRIME, SCANDAL & TRIAL BY COMBAT IN MEDIEVAL FRANCE.
It will be THE DEPARTED director’s first project since signing a new development deal with TOM CRUISE’s former movie studio Paramount Pictures.
It is not known if Scorsese will direct the film, which will focus on the last sanctioned duel between knights JEAN DE CARROUGES and JACQUES LeGRIS in 1386.
Scorsese is currently working on a documentary about THE ROLLING STONES.
