UNDERWOOD’S DIAMOND DRESS UP FOR SALE
The one-of-a kind Kwiat diamond dress CARRIE UNDERWOOD wore to the Country Music Association Awards at the beginning of the month (06NOV06) is to be auctioned off.
Underwood made headlines in the $850,000 (£435,900) Chantilly lace gown, designed by DAVID RODRIGUEZ, when FAITH HILL appeared to mouth her disappointment when the AMERICAN IDOL winner beat her to the Female Vocalist Of The Year during the night’s live telecast.
And now the dress is being auctioned off on website GottaHaveIt.com. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of the dress will go to Underwood’s favourite cause, The Humane Society Of The United States for their Rural Area Veterinary Services Program.
The auction began yesterday (29NOV06) and will end next week (06DEC06).
