WOOD BLASTS NEW LINE FOR JACKSON HOBBIT SNUB

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:54 pm

Actor ELIJAH WOOD has blasted New Line Cinema bosses for refusing to sign LORD OF THE RINGS director PETER JACKSON to take charge of THE HOBBIT.
The New Zealand film-maker told fans recently that "MARK ORDESKY (studio boss) told us that New Line would no longer be requiring our services on the Hobbit and the LOTR prequel".
Wood, who played hobbit FRODO in all three of Jackson’s film adaptations of the JRR TOLKIEN classic novels, admits he is dismayed by New Line’s decision.
He says, " I think the jury is still out. We’ll see what happens - but I was very disappointed by the news.
"I think it is very foolish."
