New JAMES BOND movie CASINO ROYALE has already been voted one of the top 20 most mistake-filled films of the year (06) - less than one week after its release.
After spotting onscreen errors, fans have flooded film continuity website MovieMistakes.com to voice their complaints. So far 12 errors in the action blockbuster have been noted.
Among the errors include the superspy’s driver’s door being open then inexplicably shut outside the Casino Royale in one scene, while another reveals actor DANIEL CRAIG’s protective white stunt suit showing under his trousers when the 007 agent scales an aviation fuel truck.
MovieMistakes.com creator JON SANDYS says, "Normally for major releases it’s only when they’re on DVD that the really major things get noticed, but some of the mistakes spotted so far are really blatant."

Oscar winner ELLEN BURSTYN has slammed the state of contemporary drama, calling for actors to seek training before taking on stage and screen roles.
The REQUIEM FOR A DREAM actress is disgusted by falling standards in Hollywood and on Broadway, and blames the influence of television on their demise.
She says, "I am appalled. I saw a couple of things (on Broadway) that were billed as good, but they were shockingly bad. I can’t recommend anything on Broadway.
"I think (acting) needs some help.
"TV has lowered the bar. With quicker schedules everything is rushed, so the quality gets lowered." Burstyn famously won an Emmy nomination earlier this year (06) for a 14 second cameo in television drama MRS HARRIS.

Actor ALAN CUMMING is to be awarded an honorary degree in his native Scotland both for his screen work and HIV/AIDS campaigning.
The X2 star will receive a doctorate of arts on Friday (24NOV06) from the University of Abertay in Dundee.
He’ll pick up the award alongside Glasgow-born journalist MURIEL GRAY, who gets an honorary doctorate of letters for a broadcasting career spanning 20 years.
Abertay principal BERNARD KING says, "We are honoured to be able to recognise the achievements of two such successful Scots.
"Alan and Muriel’s careers are eloquent testimony to what the combination of talent, passion and commitment can achieve."

Tributes have poured in for director ROBERT ALTMAN, who died on Monday (20NOV06) from complications related to cancer.
MERYL STREEP, ELLIOT GOULD, RICHARD GERE, TIM ROBBINS and SOPHIE LOREN - all of whom starred in Altman’s films - have praised the auteur, who passed away in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 81.
Gould, who starred in M*A*S*H, says, "He was the last great American director in the tradition of John Ford." MERYL STREEP, the star of Altman’s last movie A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION, adds, "What a gent, what a guy, what a great heart.
"Bob’s restless spirit has moved on. I have to say, when I spoke with him last week, he seemed impatient for the future. He still had the generous, optimistic appetite for the next thing, and we planned the next film laughing in anticipation of the laughs we’d have." DR T AND THE WOMEN star Gere says, "There’s no-one I’m prouder to have worked with. He was an ecstatic … a magician … a conjurer … a mischievous boy.

LATEST: British band THE ORDINARY BOYS have furiously denied cancelling a charity performance because they weren’t being paid. The allegations were made in a British broadsheet newspaper this morning, claiming the singer’s manager demanded several thousands of pounds for the band to perform at a fundraising event for Malian arts charity Aduna in London last Thursday (16NOV06). And when organisers refused to pay, they received a mobile phone text message saying Preston was too ill to perform.
But a spokesperson for the band’s label Polydor insists the report is untrue and that the band are seeking legal advice.
A statement reads, "Allegations that were made today concerning Preston and The Ordinary Boys pulling out of a live event last Thursday because the charity hosting the event refused to pay them an appearance fee are completely untrue.
Preston was unwell on the day of the show and their appearance was cancelled because of this. "Preston, the band and their management are currently seeking legal advice regarding the allegations."

Soul singer CANDI STATON has credited flamboyant music producer DAVID GEST for transforming his estranged wife LIZA MINNELLI into an attractive woman.
Staton, best known for her 1976 hit song YOUNG HEARTS RUN FREE, claims before Gest came along, Minnelli was unfit and grossly overweight.
She tells British magazine New!, "She was fat when she met him and he helped her lose 100lbs.

THE STROKES have lavished praise on bandmate ALBERT HAMMOND JR solo efforts, even though his songs weren’t good enough for the IS THIS IT hitmakers.
Last month (OCT06), the guitarist released solo album YOURS TO KEEP, a compilation of all the songs he had written originally for the group, but which had been turned down.
However, singer JULIAN CASABLANCAS is adamant the rejection didn’t mean the group weren’t fans of Hammond Jr’s sound.
Speaking to baseball fansite Yankees2000 Casablancas says, "It’s great. He’s my bro and I’m rooting for him. I like the album a lot, I think it’s cool.
"When you’re in a band it’s kind of hard to bring stuff that five people agree on, but it’s cool because he wanted to do this, he wanted to do his own thing.
"I’ll tell you though, I don’t know how he does it, going straight from our tour to his tour, I think he’s gonna crash after this."

Former BLUR guitarist GRAHAM COXON is considering rejoining the band, four years after quitting the PARKLIFE hitmakers.
Coxon, who left during the making of Blur’s THINK TANK album in 2002, has responded to Blur bassist ALEX JAMES’s recent appeal for the original line-up to reunite for one more album.
Coxon tells website Pitchfork, "I haven’t been approached about it. I think about it. Would it be fun? Would it be a bit too scary? What would the dynamic be in a studio? Would I have to do promotion? Would I tour? "You know, it’s a lot of thinking. So I guess I still mull around and think about it every now and then." He also insists that he is still on good terms with all of Blur, despite his premature departure.
"Alex will always be my friend. I guess they all will be in some way, but it’s somewhat strange."

Rocker BONO is a modern day ‘reincarnation’ of classical composer LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN, according to the editor of music magazine Gramophone.
The latest issue of the British publication gives Beethoven a modern make-over, so he looks like the U2 frontman. Editor JAMES INVERNE also claims the pair share many similarities.
Inverne says, "Beethoven was a major cultural figure in his day, just as Bono is now.
"In the 18th century, composers were the pop stars of their day. Beethoven was also a regular guest at court and would have been a point of reference for the Austrian aristocracy.
"Bono has a comparable relationship with TONY BLAIR and GEORGE W BUSH, and the dynamic is still the same.
"Beethoven believed the world should work to make itself a better place and that we should stand up against oppression."

The hip-hop quartet was named Favourite Group twice, in the rap/hip-hop and soul/rhythm and blues categories. They also won Favourite Album in the rap/hip-hop section for ‘Monkey Business’.
Although the Peas were not present at the event, which was held at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium, they thanked their fans via a video link "for keeping hip-hop progressive and pushing it forward".
Other big winners at the glitzy ceremony - presented by surprise host Britney Spears - included the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who were named Favourite Alternative Artist in the adult contemporary category and Favourite Band in the pop/rock category.
One-time ‘American Idol’ winner Kelly Clarkson walked away with two accolades for Best Female, pop/rock, and Favourite Artist, adult contemporary.
Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé Knowles and Nelly Furtado all thrilled the crowd with spectacular performances.
It turned out to be an extra special night for Foxx who was accompanied by his biological mother - who he had not seen for years.
He introduced his song ‘Wish U Were Here’, saying: "I dedicate this song, y’all, to my mother in the audience, and everyone. I hope you allow me to be myself." The Oscar winner was also honoured as the Favourite Male Artist in the soul/rhythm and blues section.

KEUT SOTHEA, deputy governor for Pailin municipality, said the actress, accompanied by a small party, arrived and departed by two helicopters, to discuss the forest conservation effort she has funded.
Sothea added, "They came very briefly before flying out. They seemed not to have much time for us." Jolie is said to have promised up to $1.3 million (£1 million) over five years for the project.

LATEST: US magician DAVID BLAINE has been shackled four stories high over New York’s Times Square to kick off his latest charity stunt.
The 33-year-old was strapped into a spinning gyroscope and hoisted by crane above the streets of the capital yesterday (21NOV06).
He’ll spend 48 hours in the contraption before being given another 16 - until Friday morning (24NOV06) - to make his escape.
But Blaine insists it’s not the difficult finale which is unnerving him wearing only a lightly padded jacket, trousers and a scarf he’ll have to brave three nights of chilly winter weather.
Speaking ahead of the stunt, he said, "There is that slight worry of hypothermia but it shouldn’t happen. By hour 48 this is going to be really interesting." If he’s successful, Blaine will lead 100 children selected by The Salvation Army on a Christmas shopping expedition. Each child will receive a $500 (£278) gift certificate from retailer Target.
