JESSICA SIMPSON is reportedly back in the dating game after finding love with fellow Texan TONY ROMO.
The pop star and actress, who has been romantically linked with JOHN MAYER since her split from husband NICK LACHEY, is secretly dating the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, according to sports magazine Sports Illustrated.
Romo, who was spotted dining with Simpson’s manager father JOE earlier this month (NOV06), has refused to deny the romance rumours.
Simpson was also Romo’s guest at the Cowboys versus the Arizona Cardinals game on 12 November (06).

The cowardly lion costume from THE WIZARD OF OZ will be auctioned off next month (DEC06).
The iconic costume, which was worn by BERT LAHR in the film, will go under the hammer during the Profiles in History’s Hollywood Memorabilia auction beginning 14 December (06).
The costume is expected to sell for $400,000 to $600,000 (£222,000-333,000).

BORAT star SACHA BARON COHEN had to be jetted out of New York during filming on the comedy to avoid arrest and deportation when a stunt went awry.
The British funnyman appeared to be stealing furniture from a Manhattan hotel as his comical Kazakstani TV reporter character Borat - but management at the place didn’t get the joke.
Instead, the manager reported Cohen and his film crew to the police, an arrest warrant was issued and the Brit had to dash to New Jersey to avoid arrest.
Instead, according to a new article in Rolling Stone magazine, the film’s line producer and first assistant spent 19 hours in jail for orchestrating the stunt.

Production on the remake of REVENGE OF THE NERDS has abruptly been halted after film executives were unhappy with the quality of the movie.
The 1984 comedy, starring KATIE CASSIDY, JENNA DEWAN and DAN BYRD, saw a group of nerds starting their own college fraternity.
Sources say Fox Atomic President PETER RICE was unhappy with the daily film clips he had seen so far and decided to scrap the entire movie.
Rice says, "Everybody worked very hard on Revenge of the Nerds, and we’re all extremely disappointed that we can’t move forward." A representative for Fox Atomic said that everyone involved in the film has been paid for their work.

The upbeat actor admits he struggles to conjure up tears on cue for movies but has started taking fellow Australian GEOFFREY RUSH’s advice and inflicting pain on himself just before a director calls, `Action!’ The X-MEN tough guy reveals he used this odd technique to conjure up floods of tears for one scene in new movie THE FOUNTAIN.
He explains, "I remembered a great story from Geoffrey Rush, who had to cry in a scene in a play, so he was experimenting with different ways.
"Finally, near the end, just before he’d walk out on stage, he used to pluck out a couple of nose hairs and he’d get that first moment of a tear and then he’d go on and start crying.
"It’s very technical and it works! Try it at home. Pubes work even better!"

LATEST: Law enforcement officials in the Bahamas have ordered police to re-interview ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s companion HOWARD K STERN regarding her son’s mysterious death.
Members of the Attorney General’s office want to ask Stern more questions about how the painkiller methadone ended up in the system of 20-year-old DANIEL SMITH.
Daniel died 10 September (06) in his mother’s hospital room days after she gave birth to her daughter.
An autopsy revealed Daniel had a lethal combination of drugs in his system, including methadone and several antidepressants.
Sources in the Bahamas told entertainment website TMZ.com that Royal Bahamas Police interviewed Stern two weeks ago.
Stern and the former Playboy Playmate have both been interviewed several times since Daniel’s death.
Law enforcement officials are expected to make a major announcement regarding the investigation by 15 December (06).

BACHELOR PARTY star TAWNY KITAEN has been charged with possessing 15 grams of cocaine in California.
A statement by the Orange County district attorney’s office said police found the cocaine on 21 May (06) in the San Juan Capistrano apartment she shares with her two children. It was not immediately clear why police were at the apartment or why there was a delay in filing the charges. If convicted, the 45-year-old could face up to three years in prison.
In 2002, she was accused of attacking her husband, professional baseball player CHUCK FINLEY, following an argument during dinner at a steakhouse.
The case was dismissed after she agreed to undergo counseling. The pair have since divorced.
Kitaen, who has appeared on TV shows such as HERCULES and THE SURREAL LIFE, is scheduled to be arraigned on 18 December (06).

JOHN FOGERTY will spend the Thanksgiving holiday (23NOV06) in the US flying around the country to perform live during the halftime celebrations at two National Football League games.

LATEST: FAITH HILL tracked CARRIE UNDERWOOD down backstage at the Country Music Association Awards earlier this month (NOV06) to make sure she wasn’t upset when she saw footage of the CRY singer’s reaction to her Best Female Artist win.

"She told me that night and wanted to set it straight right then and there and let me know that she was just kidding and it was just a joke gone bad and she was really sorry for doing anything that might have seemed inappropriate." Underwood insists she was more upset by the backlash aimed at Hill: "Faith is such a sweet person that she shouldn’t get dumped on for that."

PIECES OF ME singer ASHLEE SIMPSON insists she happily single since splitting with guitarist BRAXTON OLITA over the summer (06). The 22-year-old recently returned to the US from London where she had been starring as ROXIE HART in the stage musical CHICAGO.

WILL FERRELL has hit out at claims there is a ‘Frat Pack’ of Hollywood comedy stars.
