SIMONON LEFT BATTERED AND BRUISED AFTER LEAVING WIFE
Former THE CLASH bassist PAUL SIMONON was left with two black eyes and a battered nose after reportedly dumping his wife TRICIA earlier this month (06).
The LONDON CALLING star, who is a member of DAMON ALBARN’s new group THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE QUEEN, appeared on BBC programme The Culture Show sporting the injuries.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "Paul mysteriously showed up for the programme looking like he had been in a fight… Tricia is a feisty woman." The newspaper reports Simonon walked away from Tricia to be with new love SERENA REES - the woman who founded lingerie giant Agent Provocateur with her husband JOE CORRE.
