AKON REFUSES GUEST OFFERS
R&B singer AKON refuses to perform guest appearances for his chart contemporaries, insisting he will only contribute if he produces the track.
The LONELY hitmaker duets with EMINEM and SNOOP DOGG on SMACK THAT and I WANNA LOVE YOU respectively.
Akon admits he is too involved in music to simply lend his vocals and not contribute creatively.
He explains, "I don’t just guest. If I don’t produce it, I won’t get on the record.
"The main reason for a collaboration is to bring something new and help you expand your audience."
