NEWTON REGRETS AGREEING TO GET FAT FOR FILM
Award-winning actress THANDIE NEWTON agreed to put on weight for her role in RUN, FAT BOY, RUN, because she mistakenly thought her British co-star SIMON PEGG had to do the same.
However the CRASH star realised too late that SHAUN OF THE DEAD actor Pegg was in fact going to pad himself up with a special costume.
Newton says, "The producers asked me to put on weight, and, because I thought Simon was having to put on masses, I agreed.
"But when I turned up, Simon hadn’t put on any weight at all. He just wore a fat suit.
"His rippling six-pack was intact beneath it."
