OJ SIMPSON TO TALK MURDER ON TV
OJ SIMPSON will appear in a two-part TV interview to discuss the 1995 murders of his ex-wife NICOLE SIMPSON and her friend RONALD GOLDMAN.
Simpson was acquitted of the murders in a criminal trial, but found guilty by a civil court case and ordered to pay $33.5 million (£18.6 million) to the families of both victims.
The interviews will be conducted by publisher JUDITH REGAN, whose company Regan Books is releasing a book Simpson has written about the murders currently titled IF I DID IT, HERE’S HOW IT HAPPENED.
According to network Fox, which will screen the interviews on 27 and 29 November, the book will "hypothetically describe" how he would have committed the murders.
Fox executive MIKE DARNELL says, "This is an interview that no one thought would ever happen. It’s the definitive last chapter in the trial of the century." When reports of the book emerged last month (OCT06), Simpson’s lawyer YALE GALANTER said, "(Simpson) is not writing a book. We haven’t been paid 35 cents.
"If anyone comes out with such a book, I’ll go on every talk show and call it c**p."
