MINISTER TO STAND DOWN OVER SMITH CONTROVERSY?

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:42 pm

ANNA NICOLE SMITH has put the Bahamian Immigration Minister’s job in jeopardy after he allegedly fast-tracked her residency permit on the island.
The former model, who recently gave birth to a daughter in the Bahamas, used a house in Nassau as the basis for her application for permanent residency.
However, the home has since been the subject of an ownership dispute between her and South Carolina businessman G BEN THOMPSON, an ex-lover.
Now government minister SHANE GIBSON is being pressured to stand down over the affair, with opponents claiming he was unprofessional in allowing his close friend to stay on in the country.
Gibson faced uncomfortable questions after being photographed at Smith’s "commitment ceremony" with lawyer boyfriend HOWARD K STERN on a catamaran in September (06).
The island’s media is demanding that Prime Minister PERRY CHRISTIE fire Gibson over the scandal, ahead of a general election next year (07).
