An obsessed STAR TREK fan flew all the way from Germany to Los Angeles just to dine at his favourite alien’s new restaurant.
The young Trekker was flown to Hollywood for dinner at actress JERI RYAN’s French restaurant Ortolan as an 18th birthday gift.
Ryan, who played SEVEN OF NINE in TV series STAR TREK: VOYAGER, says, "I didn’t know he was coming and I was working at the time. He came three nights in a row.
"On the last night, I stopped by and he was so sweet. He told me all the Seven of Nine stuff he had at home, which included a life-sized statue of me.
Not a stand-up cutout, a statue. He sent me a picture of it. It’s frightening."

Former 24 star DENNIS HAYSBERT fears he’s the victim of a TIGER WOODS curse after missing out on the chance to play golf with his hero three times.
The actor admits it’s one of his ambitions to play a round with Woods but is begining to believe it’s never going to happen.
Haysbert explains, "I’ve been booked to play with Tiger in San Diego three times - and three times something has come up.
"One time it was rained out, and two times I had to work. I would have loved to walk the course with him. Man, what I could have learned."

Actress REESE WITHERSPOON cancelled her appearance at designer CAROLINA HERRERA’s new Los Angeles boutique on Monday night (13DEC06), so she could spend time with her family in Tennessee.
The LEGALLY BLONDE star, who recently split from husband RYAN PHILLIPPE, was slated to host the event but explained she wouldn’t be able to attend to Herrera due to personal circumstances.
She has since been spotted back home in Nashville, Tennessee, where her parents live.

WARREN BEATTY is to be honoured with the 64th CECIL B DeMILLE Award for Lifetime Achievement at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards in Hollywood.
The actor/director’s latest accolade was announced by JAMES CAAN at a press conference this morning (15NOV06).
It will be Beatty’s sixth Globe. He has been nominated 12 times as an actor, director and screenwriter.
The honour will be presented to Beatty on 15 January (07). All other nominations will be announced on 14 December (06).

Socialite NICKY HILTON is suing a man who tried to steal her famous name and cash in on her latest business venture. In a lawsuit filed in Federal Court in downtown Los Angeles, Hilton claims she’s been developing a "boutique hotel chain" called Nicky O.
She says she enlisted the help of ENELIKO SMITH, "who held himself out as an experienced operator and marketer of boutique hotels." Hilton said she was horrified to learn that Smith allegedly filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark office for exclusive rights to use the name Nicky O.
According to entertainment news website TMZ.com, Hilton is asking for damages and wants a judge to issue an injunction prohibiting Smith from using the name.
Smith slams Hilton’s claims, insisting he was the one who created the concept for her and that she took the idea to another company.
He claims he is within his legal rights to submit an application to register the name.

LATEST: BRITISH actress RACHEL WEISZ has hit back at critics who slammed her for saying that it was OK to drink alcohol while pregnant. The Oscar-winner gave birth to her first child with director DARREN ARONOFSKY earlier this year (06).
Although she didn’t reveal if she herself drank while she was expecting her son HENRY CHANCE, she said European women regularly drink when they are expecting. Weisz’s representative confirms that her client made the comments saying, "She was speaking only about herself and what her doctor said was okay for her.
"She wasn’t speaking as an expert. She believes everyone should consult their own physician to see what is right for them." The star has been criticised by medical experts who described her comments as "ill-informed" and "dangerous." In the US and Canada, complete abstinence from drinking is advised for expectant mothers due to the risk of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. However, UK guidelines allow pregnant women one or two small glasses of wine or single measures of a spirit once or twice a week.

LATEST: NAOMI CAMPBELL was back in court today (15NOV06), as she unsuccessfully tried to cut a deal on charges she threw a cell phone at her maid over a pair of missing jeans. Campbell was accused of hitting ANA SCOLAVINO in the back of the head with a cell phone in the model’s Manhattan apartment. She was treated for a head injury after the accident.
Assistant District Attorney SHANDA STRAIN said during the hearing, "We’re still in the process of working out a possible disposition." The 36-year-old supermodel stood silently during the short hearing. She is due back in court on 16 January (07).
Campbell’s lawyer, DAVID BREITBAR, said he was considering a plea offer from the Manhattan district attorney’s office, but declined to provide details. The model, who didn’t speak with reporters after the hearing, wore a formfitting dark gray dress and a black cloth jacket with high-heeled black suede pumps.
Breitbart told reporters Campbell hoped to reach an agreement that would only require community service.
If convicted on the assault charge, the British beauty could face up to seven years in prison and deportation.
On Tuesday (14NOV06) Campbell was sued by another former maid who says the model viciously assaulted her.

TERMINATOR 3 star KRISTANNA LOKEN has given her biggest hint yet she is dating LOST actress MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ.
Loken was recently interviewed by gay publication The Advocate, where she was asked about stories linking her with her sexy co-star on the set of BLOODRAYNE.
When asked about rumours that the two hooked up during the shoot, Loken laughed and took a deep breath before replying, "There is the $64,000 question.
Um…I don’t even know how to answer that." She was then asked if the two had fun partying together, Loken replied, "Uh-huh", while smiling slyly.

Rap mogul JAY-Z is planning a whistle-stop day-long US tour to promote the release of his comeback album KINGDOM COME this weekend (18NOV06).
The rapper play seven 30-minute shows in advance of his new release next Tuesday (21NOV06).
Performances will take place in Atlanta, Georgia; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Washington, D.C: New Jersey; Chicago, Illinois; Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

STEVIE WONDER, ANGIE STONE and JOHNNY GILL are among the stars who will perform at tragic R&B star GERALD LEVERT’s memorial service on Friday (17NOV06).
The free CELEBRATION OF LIFE concert will be held at the Cleveland Music Hall in Ohio. Fans will be admitted on a first come, first served basis.
Levert died last week, aged 40. Preliminary autopsy results indicate the singer died of heart disease.

New Zealand pop star NEIL FINN has reunited with his CROWDED HOUSE bandmate NICK SEYMOUR for his upcoming solo album.
Finn tells billboard.com that the suicide of the pair’s bandmate PAUL HESTER last year (05) brought him and Seymour together and they’ve been working on music ever since.
Finn says, "Working together again feels really good. It felt natural and right. We’ve been good company for each other.
"The day we heard what happened with Paul, we were about to play a show at (the) Albert Hall (in London), my brother (TIM FINN) and I. We decided we had to continue and I rang Nick; he was the one I wanted to have there." Finn’s new solo album will be a family affair - his wife and two sons appear on tracks.
He adds, "It’s a pretty emotional record, I think." Crowded House split in 1996 after a string of international hits including WEATHER WITH YOU, DON’T DREAM IT’S OVER and FALL AT YOUR FEET.

LATEST: Country music fans have given FAITH HILL a boost as she attempts to play down her on-camera outrage after losing out to newcomer CARRIE UNDERWOOD at the recent Country Music Association Awards (CMAs).
In an online poll conducted by Country Weekly magazine, devotees voted to have faith in Hill’s explanation that she was joking when she mouthed outrage over Underwood’s Best Female Artist win.
Sixty five per cent of the 39,553 fans surveyed said Faith was just joking.
Hill was caught mouthing what appeared to be an annoyed "What?" to cameras backstage as Underwood’s name was read out.

LATEST: BRITNEY SPEARS is hoping to make a cash killing by selling the Malibu, California home she bought two years ago (04) for double what she paid for it.
The pop superstar has put the estate on the market for a whopping $13.5 million (£7.5 million), according to website TMZ.com.
Sources tell the news site that Spears will have to hand over 20 per cent of the house sale cash to her estranged husband KEVIN FEDERLINE as part of the couple’s pre-nuptial arrangement.
That would still leave her with $10.8 million (£6 million) almost $4 million (£2.2 million) more than the $6.9 million (£3.8 million) she paid for the property.

America’s 23rd instalment of hits compilation NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC has stormed to the top of the Billboard charts in its first week on release.

The compilation sold 337,000 copies Operatic singer JOSH GROBAN crashes in at number two, selling 270,000 copies of his new album AWAKE, and country star KEITH URBAN has been given a boost as he battles alcoholism in a California rehab facility - his new album LOVE, PAIN & THE WHOLE CRAZY THING debuts at three with his highest ever sales week (267,000).
