JOHNNY CASH HOME UP FOR AUCTION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:36 pm

The four-bedroom Memphis, Tennessee home that once belonged to country star JOHNNY CASH is up for auction.
The Walnut Grove Place house, where Cash and his first wife VIVIAN lived from 1957 to 1960, was placed under the hammer on Internet auction site eBay on Friday (10NOV06).
The residence includes the guitar-shaped mailbox Cash erected outside and other little bits of Cash memorabilia.
The current bid stands at $100,000 (£55,500). The auction continues until 10 December (06).
The sale of the home is being facilitated by the Honky Tonk Hall of Fame, which also helped to sell one of Cash’s ex-Sun Records labelmates ELVIS PRESLEY’s former houses before he moved into Graceland.
