FARRAH FAWCETT’s ex-husband LEE MAJORS has rallied to the star’s side after she received news that she was suffering from anal cancer.
The former CHARLIE’S ANGELS star is over half way through a difficult six-week regimen of chemotherapy and radiation.
Majors tells US news show Extra, "She’s working very hard and getting through it." The former SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN star says he was working on a project with his ex-wife, which has been temporarily been put on hold.
He says, "We’re going to do a project together in the future, but it’s (the cancer treatment) put a little stop to it for now." As for ex-love RYAN O’NEAL remaining by her side he says, "Ryan’s a good guy.
I wish him well and he’ll take care of her." Majors offered up words of encouragement for Fawcett adding, "Just fight the fight and you’ll come out of it okay."

JANET JACKSON insists boyfriend JERMAINE DUPRI didn’t mind the fact that she gained weight for a film role and actually loved her fuller figure.
The CONTROL star gained a reported 60 pounds (27 kilograms) for a part in a movie, which fell through at the last minute.
The 40-year-old appeared on yesterday’s (10NOV06) ELLEN DeGENERES SHOW, and she talked about Dupri’s love for her formerly voluptuous shape, saying, "He loved it! He likes my true self. "It’s unconditional love there, so he was always grabbing my extra stuff and looking into my eyes and telling me that he loves me and it (the weight) needs love, too and then he’d kiss me and smile at me." DeGeneres said, "That’s adorable!" Jackson replied, "It really was, and I never had that before in a relationship." When DeGeneres asked whether she and Dupri are getting married Jackson added, "If that’s what he wants to do." The talk show host then surprised Dupri by calling him on his mobile phone and asking him if he wanted to marry Jackson.
Although he was caught off guard, Dupri was a good sport and replied, "Yeah, of course!"

Rocker COURTNEY LOVE has no desire to jump into a romantic relationship after beating her drink and drug problems, because men look less attractive now she’s sober.
The CELEBRITY SKIN star insists she has an entirely new perspective on dating now that her judgment isn’t impaired by drugs and alcohol.
She explains, "You know, the thing about sobriety is that when you’re all messed up people look a lot hotter.
"And then when you’re sober, you know, they look like what they look like.

Oscar-winning actor JACK PALANCE died yesterday (10NOV06) at his home in Montecito, California. He was 87.
The CITY SLICKERS star died of natural causes and was surrounded by his family when he passed away, according to his spokesperson DICK GUTTMAN.
The star delighted viewers of the 1992 Academy Award ceremony when he accepted his Oscar for best supporting actor by dropping to the stage and performing one-armed push-ups to demonstrate his physical prowess.
Oscar host BILLY CRYSTAL turned the moment into a running joke and made increasingly outlandish remarks about Palance’s accomplishments throughout the night’s presentations.
Palance appeared alongside JOAN CRAWFORD in the 1952 film noir classic SUDDEN FEAR, and the 1953 western SHANE, as evil gunslinger JACK WILSON, who toughed it out with star ALAN LADD in one of the big screen’s definitive bar brawls.
He was born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania to Russian-immigrant parents and arrived in Hollywood in the late 1940s with a rebuilt face after he was badly burned in World War II.
Palance is survived by three children from his first marriage to actress VIRGINIA BAKER (the couple divorced in 1966), and his widow, ELAINE ROGERS (whom he married in 1987).

BRITNEY SPEARS’ first husband has lashed out at KEVIN FEDERLINE, labeling him an "idiot" who spent all her money.
Alexander and Spears were childhood friends from Louisiana and tied the knot in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004, only to have the marriage annulled 55 hours later.
He tells US news show EXTRA, "I don’t hate the guy… I think he made an idiot of himself." When asked if he thought Federline married Spears for her money, he replied, "I don’t know, the only thing he’s done since they’ve been married is spend money." Alexander also slams Federline attempts to gain custody of the couple’s two sons, saying, "He won’t get the kids… he can’t take care of his first two." Federline has two sons with Spears - SEAN PRESTON, 14 months and JAYDEN JAMES, two months - as well as two children with actress SHAR JACKSON - KORI, four and KALEB, two. Alexander admits he is still in love with Spears and made a plea to his ex-wife in the interview to contact him: "Give me a call. I’m a good guy to talk to… and I’m here for you."

R&B star GERALD LEVERT died yesterday (10NOV06) after suffering a suspected heart attack. He was 40.
Levert was the son of O’JAYS singer EDDIE LEVERT and he passed away in Cleveland, Ohio.
Over his two-decade music career, Levert sold millions of albums and had numerous R&B hits.
He first gained fame as a member of R&B trio LeVert, which also included his brother, SEAN, and childhood friend MARC GORDON.
They had hits including (POP, POP, POP) GOES MY MIND, CASANOVA, and BABY I’M READY.
In 1991, he made his solo debut with the album PRIVATE LINE, which included a hit duet with his dad BABY HOLD ON TO ME. He also recorded the successful album FATHER & SON.
Though Levert was successful as a solo singer, in 1997, he got into group mode again, joining with R&B singers JOHNNY GILL and KEITH SWEAT to form the group LSG.

Pop star BRITNEY SPEARS has decided not to sell photos of her two-month old son to the highest bidder in the wake of her divorce from KEVIN FEDERLINE.
The star had been shopping the photos around since second son JAYDEN JAMES was born in September (06).
Spears has now reportedly had a change of heart and decided to offer up the pictures for free to a prestigious monthly or bi-monthly magazine.
Sources tell Women’s Wear Daily that the TOXIC singer decided against selling the snaps because of a clause in her prenuptial agreement which guarantees that Federline receives proceeds from all photos sold of their two children. The former back-up dancer received profits when the couple sold pictures of their other son SEAN PRESTON, now 14 months, to American publication People in August (06).
