Australian rockers JET are set to go to war with socialite PARIS HILTON after penning a song ridiculing the party girl.
Jet frontman NIC CESTER revealed the song’s scathing subject matter at the band’s sold-out concert at London’s Brixton Academy on Wednesday night (08NOV06).
Cester yelled out to the crowd, "Here’s a song we’ve written about Paris Hilton - it’s called RIP IT UP." The song includes lyrics threatening to kill Hilton’s pet dog TINKERBELL saying, "I’m gonna get ya my pretty, your little dog, too." It also includes a reference to her infamous sex video saying, "Just spread your legs for the silver screen." According to Sydney’s Daily Telegraph, the band received an enthusiastic reception from the crowd, with revelers cheering wildly during the new song.

SHARON STONE is helping to clothe America’s homeless this winter (06) after urging bosses at the Burlington Coat Factory to hand over their wares to charity.
The actress was horrified when she heard hundreds of children were forced to drop out of schools during the winter because their families couldn’t afford to clothe them.
And she used her charms to convince Burlington bosses to hand out winter wardrobes to the worst-affected families.
She says, "There are kids who are not going back to finish their senior year… because they do not have a coat to go to school in.
"I’ve been working with a man at the Burlington Coat factory and we’ve been doing these projects all over the Atlantic northeast because there is so much of this situation.
"When I found this out… it broke my heart and I called the man who is the CEO of Burlington Coat Factory, and he was so moved by this concept that he started the project with me." Stone is also working with footwear company Stride Rite to provide the same families with winter shoes.
She adds, "These kids don’t have shoes to go to school, so the kids in families are taking turns going to school because they only have a pair of shoes - each kid gives a pair of shoes to their brother and sister so they can go to school for one day.
"This is the real truth of what’s happening in our country."

THE X-FILES star DAVID DUCHOVNY is returning to television as a single father who is battling an addiction to sex and drugs.
The actor will also serve as executive producer on the as-yet-untitled project for US network Showtime.
If the project is picked up to series, it will be Duchovny’s first regular TV role since The X-Files wrapped in 2000.
The actor is also working on a second project with Showtime, the comedy series YOGA MAN, described as SHAMPOO in a yoga studio.
Duchovny is writing the pilot script with BART FREUNDLICH, who directed him in the feature TRUST THE MAN.

BATMAN FOREVER star VAL KILMER was shocked to find out his wife was divorcing him while watching news channel CNN on a trip to Ireland.
The 46-year-old star was married to British actress JOANNE WHALLEY at the time and the couple have two children, daughter MERCEDES and son JACK.
When US Elle magazine asked he actor if he’d ever been dumped he replied, "Well, I was visiting MARLON BRANDO in Ireland, and I turned on CNN and found out my wife had filed for divorce.
"She took the kids and moved to a different state. I guess that counts as being dumped." Kilmer claims the experience of going through a divorce taught him a lot adding, "You just don’t understand humility until you have children and get divorced.
"I was very hurt and very angry and so was she. But when kids are involved, you either become friends with respect or you become mortal enemies."

HEATH LEDGER checked himself into an Australian rehab facility and learned how to shoot up heroin from a junkie - to perfect his latest movie role.
The Aussie actor plays a drug addict in new movie CANDY, but he had no idea how to portray his sick character on the big screen, because he has never stuck a needle in his arm.
So he called on experts at the Narcotics Users Association of Australia, who hooked him up with a junkie and a fake arm.
The BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN star explains, "I went to this centre in Australia, called NUAA and met a gentleman who has been using, and still is, for the last 20 years.
"He took us into a board room and opened what looked like a rifle case and inside was a prosthetic arm, which was designed for training purposes; it was designed to train young drug addicts how to find their veins.
"It was a fully functional arm, the veins were fully functional. It would attach to the shoulder with two tubes that you could attach to blood bags and it would pump blood through the arm and you could find a vein and, when you found the vein, he showed us the angles in which to go in at (with a needle).
"You could draw back even and take blood out of the arm and then push through. He taught us how to tie the tourniquets to pump up the vein. We also had someone on set who could take us step by step through the stages of drying out.
"They would say, ‘OK, now you’re in a cold sweat, in this next scene your stomach feels like it’s twisting up into a knot, your head aches, you’re parched.’" Ledger, who also stayed out of the sun and fasted to perfect the role of a pale, starving junkie, admits he had no longing to try hard drugs before making Candy, and now he’ll never go near them.
He adds, "I do think that drugs and alcohol have been obviously glorified and mythologised. We’ve kind of connected that with what it takes to create something, which is anything from the truth. Creation comes from your mind and it’s hard to create when you’re phased and drugged out.
"I’m sure drugs and alcohol would inspire new thoughts but it’s certainly not something that I use as a tool or a mechanism to create."

RYAN PHILLIPPE hired and fired a high-powered Los Angeles publicist in the space of a few hours after his firm made up quotes and provided them to a magazine for its cover story.
MICHAEL SITRICK, whose clients have included HALLE BERRY and R KELLY, was sacked after giving a story to US In Touch magazine regarding Phillippe’s split from wife REESE WITHERSPOON.
Phillippe has long been represented by Baker Winokur Ryder, the public relations firm that also represents Witherspoon.
The firm’s partner NANCI RYDER, actually introduced the couple, who married seven years ago and have two children.
When the couple announced their split last week, BWR hired Sitrick to handle Phillippe’s public relations duties, reportedly to avoid a conflict of interest.
A BWR spokeswoman tells New York Post’s Page Six, "We hired him. We out-sourced. We thought we might need the extra help, but we didn’t. It turned out, smaller is better." An insider says the publicists at Sitrick’s company "gave a fake story to In Touch. They did a not-kosher thing, and that’s uncool. They f**king lied." In the In Touch cover story, which they touted as an "exclusive interview", Phillippe was quoted as saying, "I’m not jealous of her, that’s so far from the truth.
"She’s someone who’s very talented and works hard. I’ve done well, too - that was never an issue." He was also quoted as saying, "This is the hardest time of my life - I miss my family." Sitrick has hit back at BWR’s claims saying, "The project was not as big as they expected…We were not fired because of any fake quote given to In Touch magazine.
"We don’t even know what you are talking about with respect to that." Meanwhile, editors at In Touch are furious about the fiasco adding, "We’re angry. We trusted the publicists."

GUNS N’ ROSES cancelled a performance in Maine this week after being told by state officials that the band could not drink on stage.
Inspectors from the state fire marshal’s office gave the band the no-drinking order when they came to inspect the pyrotechnics planned for Monday’s concert (13NOV06) in Portland.
STEPHEN McCAUSLAND, a spokesperson for the Maine Public Safety Department, said the band wanted to drink beer, wine and Jagermeister while performing.
He said a couple of hours after being told that the drinking would violate state law, the band cancelled its concert.
After the cancellation, a band spokesperson blamed the fire marshals for "making it impossible for the band to perform their show to the usual high standards that their fans deserve." Frontman AXL ROSE issued a statement on the Guns N’ Roses website apologising to fans in Maine saying, "It was important for us to play there and it is a shame that what should have been a great night for all of us was not possible due to the actions of two people (the fire marshals)." "I agree with, and ultimately take responsibility for, the end decision not to jeopardise the safety of the fans, the crews, the bands and myself as a result of the methods of these particularly draconian authorities. We hope to find another way to play for you in the future." Supervisor of liquor licensing and inspection for the state Department of Public Safety JEFF AUSTIN said state law prohibits performers from drinking while on stage and prohibits employees at establishments with liquor licenses from drinking on the job.
He adds, "It’s been on the books for years."

JUVENILE has been cleared in a lawsuit claiming the rapper was responsible for an off-duty police officer injuring her knee while trying to break up a mall fight involving the star in 1999.
Following a week-long trial in Jacksonville, Florida, a six-member jury ruled in favour of the New Orleans-based rapper on Thursday (09NOV06).
Juvenile, real name TERIUS GRAY, said after the ruling, "We got them, we got them, we got them. Just the fact that it’s a rap artist against the police, that never happens.
"Rappers never win. We never win against the police or the government." FRED ABBOTT, an attorney for the officer, MELISSA HUXLEY-BUJEDA, said he will file a motion for a new trial or an appeal.
Abbott said, "It was a travesty of justice. One day justice will prevail." The rapper and some friends were asked to leave Regency Square Mall on 23 July (99), because their dress and language were in violation of mall policies, according to the lawsuit.
When the group began using profanity, Huxley-Bujeda was called to issue a trespass warning. A scuffle broke out and the officer said she injured her knee while trying to control Juvenile.
The rapper was arrested on charges of breach of the peace and resisting an officer with violence. The charges were later dropped.
Huxley-Bujeda filed the lawsuit four years later, claiming she has had four surgeries and racked up $68,635 (£38,000) in medical bills.
Juvenile’s attorneys said Huxley-Bujeda suffered from degenerative arthritis and had hurt her knees approximately 35 times as a child from participating in sports.
Abbott said her prior injuries were to her right knee and the basis of her lawsuit was her left knee.

A Columbian man climbed a 45-foot statue of Jesus to pray for a miracle, only to fall to the ground breaking several bones.
Alipio Acosta climbed up the statue of Jesus in Ocaca in an attempt to be cured of epilepsy.
In front of onlookers and TV cameras the farmer climbed to the top where he prayed for a few moments and then began to descend.
As it began to rain the statue became slippery and as Acosta climbed past Jesus’ outstretched arm he dangled for a moment, before losing his grip and plummeting to the ground.
He was taken to hospital and diagnosed with multiple fractures to his wrist, hip and skull.

A Japanese man held up a noodle bar, and then paid for his meal and waited for his change before fleeing with the stolen cash.
Police are hunting a young man who visited an Osaka restaurant, where he ate a bowl of ramen noodles and a side order of fried chicken before holding his waitress at knife point.
The man forced her to hand over 46,000 yen from the till.
But when she demanded he pay for his meal before he left, the robber gave her 1,000 yen and waited to collect his 100 yen change, before running away.

New Zealand high school students will be allowed to use text-speak in their exams.
The teenagers will be able to answer questions using the abbreviations they have developed when sending text messages.
This includes such character abbreviations as writing ‘4′ instead of the word ‘for’.
The Press newspaper reports the decision has divided both pupils and teachers, as some fear it will lead to the breakdown of the English language and pupils will not know how to spell correctly.
School principal, Denis Pyatt, said: "I think text messaging is one of the most exciting things that has happened in a long time." But another teacher, Stephen Rout, said: "Students need to be able to write and understand full English."

A British man had to be treated for a scorched colon - after he stuck a firework up his bottom.
The 22-year-old soldier - recently returned from Iraq - inserted a rocket in his anus and lit the blue touch paper because he said he was bored.
A witness said: "This lad was saying, ‘This is boring, what can we do?’ He then put a rocket up his backside and set light to it.
"It exploded within seconds. No one thought he was hurt. But then he stood up and walked a few metres before stumbling and falling to the ground. There was quite a bit of blood." The victim was taken to hospital where he is being treatment for internal injuries.
