CORGAN UNVEILS NEW MATERIAL.
BILLY CORGAN’s showcase of new material has been well received by a star-studded audience which included PETE TOWNSHEND.
Despite being the singer’s first live gig following a one year break from music, the SMASHING PUMPKINS star wowed the crowd with an exclusive four-song set. Corgan was playing as part of RACHEL FULLER’s In the Attic series of gigs at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles (07NOV06). An allegedly on-edge Corgan performed four songs, all of which have not yet been named.
Fuller, girlfriend of THE WHO rocker Townshend, believes the 1978 singer was "nervous" prior to the gig, but Townshend was said to be impressed with the frontman’s live performance.
