PHILLIPPE: ‘CLINT HAS GOD ON HIS SIDE’
RYAN PHILLIPPE is convinced movie mogul CLINT EASTWOOD is touched by God because the DIRTY HARRY star seems to be able to control the elements on film sets.
The FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS actor buys into the myth that divine intervention follows Eastwood everywhere thanks to a generous moment when the movie star gave up his trailer for THE POPE.
Phillippe explains, "There’s this story about how one time Clint was doing a movie in Italy and The Pope was nearby and they needed to secure him, so he gave up his trailer for The Pope.
"They say that ever since then there’s been some kind of divine intervention on every one of his movies.
"His production days go without a hitch - you’ll get up in the morning and it will look like it’s going to rain, but when he shows up on set, the clouds part."
