FOX FEARS FOR THE FUTURE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:03 pm

MICHAEL J FOX fears the worst if his Parkinson’s Disease symptoms continue to take over his body.
The actor has struggled with the degenerative disorder of the central nervous system for 15 years and admits it often leaves his speech impaired and his movement erratic.
But he insists he’s had a "better ride" than most sufferers thanks to the support of his family and friends.
He still worries about the future because, if no cure is found, he faces a miserable life.
He says, "It gets pretty bad. It gets to where the medication stops working altogether… and I can no longer speak, I would have difficulty swallowing.
"That often is what is fatal to a lot of people with Parkinson’s - they’ll mis-swallow things and they’ll get pneumonia.
"I’ll have difficulty walking, moving… I’ll freeze.
"I’ve had a better ride than a lot of people but it’s a progressive disease; it’s not going anywhere."
