German motorists got a premature Halloween fright when two tons of pigs’ heads spilled onto a road.
Local police say the animal body parts were scattered across a highway in Herne when the truck transporting the heads accelerated at a set of traffic lights causing the trailer door to be flung open.
The bizarre accident happened on Monday (30.10.06) - the night before the errie festival.
Emergency services called to the scene took an hour-and-a-half to reload the heads onto the vehicle.
