RIVERS LOSES PURSE IN BAG SWAP
Comedienne JOAN RIVERS lost an antique purse belonging to her late mother when her goody bag was switched at a recent New York City charity bash.
Rivers tucked the priceless purse away so she could pose for photographs at the New York Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Children event on Monday (30OCT06), but picked up the wrong bag afterwards and someone else walked off with the heirloom.
She tells PageSix.com, "Some lucky lady is going to say, ‘Look at this! It’s got money, Joan Rivers’ lip gloss, a compact - this is some goodie bag!’"
