ARCTIC MONKEY THROWN OUT OF AFTERSHOW PARTY
ARCTIC MONKEYS rocker JAMIE COOK was thrown out of a Q Music Awards after-show party in the early hours of Tuesday (31OCT06) after refusing to pay his drinks bill.
Following the newcomers’ double win at the London ceremony, the WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN hitmakers joined their fellow rockers at the Met Bar in the British capital’s West End.
However, the group failed to realise the Met were not providing free drinks like the awards earlier is the evening and guitarist Cook refused to pay a £22 ($39) bill for his drinks.
Cook fumes, "There was no way I was paying £22 for two beers. I mean, £22, it’s a disgrace.
"I’m broke anyway so I was even more annoyed. I threw a bit of a strop and refused to pay."
