MILLS JOKE STUNS STARS AT Q AWARDS
British talk show host JONATHAN ROSS stunned the star-studded guests of the Q Music Awards in London yesterday (30OCT06), when he declared HEATHER MILLS was "a f**king liar".
Awards host Ross attacked Mills - who lost her left leg below the knee in a 1993 motorbike accident - in front of celebrities such as SMOKEY ROBINSON, PETER GABRIEL, BOY GEORGE, OASIS and U2.
Ross, 45, referred to the recent news reports of Mills’ divorce battle with SIR PAUL McCARTNEY, in which the former model has accused the ex-BEATLE of physical and verbal abuse in court papers.
Ross said, "Heather Mills McCartney - what a f**king liar.
"I wouldn’t be surprised if we found out she’s actually got two legs." JOHN PRING, of British magazine Disability Now, is disgusted at Ross’ humour, saying, "Jokes at the expense of the disabled upsets lots of people. For him, it’s a throwaway comment, but words can hurt."
