FLAMENCO STAR JAIL TERM UPHELD

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:15 pm

LATEST: Spanish flamenco star JUAN MANUEL FERNANDEZ MONTOYA’s request to have his three-year jail sentence converted into community service and a fine was rejected by a judge in Seville yesterday (30OCT06).
The 24-year-old dancer - known as FARRUQUITO - was convicted of the 2003 manslaughter of a pedestrian while driving without a valid licence, and was sentenced to 16 months behind bars last year (05).
But the family of the victim appealed against the original sentence, which they believed was too lenient, and a court added an extra 14 months onto Farruquito’s sentence last month (SEP06).
