JUDE LAW’s ex-wife SADIE FROST was burgled in the early hours of Thursday (26OCT06) morning - just a day before her former husband premiered new crime movie BREAKING AND ENTERING.
Thieves are believed to have entered Frost’s London home between midnight and 8am on Thursday morning and made off with her Range Rover after finding keys for the vehicle inside the house while she and her children were sleeping.
Law confirmed the theft at the London premiere of his new film yesterday (27OCT06) in which the actor plays an architect whose state-of-the-art studios are repeatedly broken into by a local gang of thieves.
The 33-year-old said, "Funnily enough, the mother of my kids was burgled when they were in the house. I was particularly worried because the kids were in the house, and I think that is a very different type of burglar to one that breaks into empty offices and takes computers at night." A spokesman for London’s Scotland Yard police said, "Police were called at 9.21am to a report of a theft in Hampstead, (north London). A Range Rover had been taken from outside the address between midnight and 8am." Law and Frost divorced in October 2003 after six years of marriage. They have three children together.
