The Australian LA CONFIDENTIAL actor appears in the promo for the band’s third single BEFORE I FALL TO PIECES, which is taken from their self-titled second album.
Describing the concept of the promo, drummer ANDY BURROWS tells MTV, "It’s an amazing video. Guy plays an overweight, ageing, alcoholic superhero who’s watching Razorlight on TV. He’s a great bloke." Razorlight frontman JOHNNY BORRELL adds, "To watch a pro in action is amazing."

HOTEL PARADISO star GINA LOLLOBRIGADA spent 13 years of her life repeatedly turning down marriage proposals from movie mogul HOWARD HUGHES.
The Italian actress, once dubbed The World’s Most Beautiful Woman, worked with Hughes in the 1950s and claims her then-husband DR MILKO SKOFIC refused to let her work in America after realising the eccentric magnate’s intentions.
The TRAPEZE actress says, "I told him (Hughes) ‘No’ for over 13 years. I don’t know if he asked other actresses, just as I have no idea if they also turned him down.
"He wouldn’t take no for an answer. He’d send his lawyers to speak with me wherever I was. Even in the desert in Algeria. I had a contract signed with him to do films, but my husband, when he saw his true intentions, wouldn’t let me return to America.
"Nonetheless, he fought to convince me in every way imaginable. Including trying to marry me while we were on his plane, in the middle of the flight."

LATEST: MICHAEL J FOX has furiously denied accusations from a US radio host he "acted" his way through a new campaign ad for his favourite politician, branding the claims "shameful".
The Parkinson’s Disease sufferer is seen frantically shaking as he urges voters to consider Missouri Democratic Senate candidate CLAIRE McCASKILL in the TV commercial, who is a strong advocate of embryonic stem cell research to unveil a potential cure for the condition.
However, the TEEN WOLF star’s performance has enraged right-wing radio pundit RUSH LIMBAUGH, who insists, "Either he didn’t take his medication or he’s acting… He’s exaggerating the effects of the disease." Fox’s spokesman JOHN ROGERS has called Limbaugh’s remarks "shameful".
He adds, "It’s an appalling, sad statement. Anybody who understands Parkinson’s disease knows it’s because of the medicine that one experiences (involuntary movements like those Fox shows in the commercial)." In 1998, Fox confirmed he had been fighting Parkinson’s disease for seven years, and underwent brain surgery to lessen the tremors caused by the illness.

Two former fugitives are suing 20th Century Fox, alleging the hit TV show PRISON BREAK is based on the story of their life.
Missouri brothers DONALD and ROBERT HUGHES filed a copyright infringement suit in Jefferson City District Court in Missouri last week (ends20OCT06), seeking damages and other costs from the production company and the prison drama’s executive producer/creator PAUL SCHEURING.
They claim their agent sent a manuscript based on their experiences in jail and their subsequent escape from prison to Fox in 2001, but the idea was rejected.
The brothers claim they were stunned when the Fox network began broadcasting Prison Break, starring WENTWORTH MILLER and DOMINIC PURCELL as jailbird siblings, last autumn (05).
In the 1960s, 16-year-old Robert was wrongfully incarcerated when his mentally ill mother told police her son had threatened her with an ice pick.
She later denied the incident had ever occurred, but the teen remained in prison until he was 21.
His younger brother DONALD, then 20, entered prison and the pair escaped two months later. They spent four years on the run until they were finally exonerated in 1968.
Robert, 59, says, "If we sold the manuscript at this point to a movie studio or network, they’d think we were copying Prison Break." The Hugheses claim they’ve noted over 30 places, names or events in the prison drama which reflect their real-life story.

LATEST: Two journalists from US TV network E! have been fired after they were found trespassing on BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE’s Hollywood Hills home.
The TV reporters allegedly unchained a gate at the back of the couple’s estate before entering the grounds, where they were spotted by construction workers maintaining the building.
A spokesman for the TROY star says he plans to file criminal charges against the TV crew.
A statement from E! says the camera operator and producer have been fired.
It reads, "E! Networks did not instruct or authorise anyone working on its program to improperly intrude onto private property, and the individuals involved have been terminated." Pitt and Jolie are currently filming in India, so were not at home when the incident took place.

British pop mogul SIMON COWELL has ruled out marriage with longterm girlfriend TERRI SEYMOUR, insisting he finds the concept "ridiculous".
The AMERICAN IDOL judge has been dating Seymour for four years but is in no hurry to walk down the aisle, claiming a life-long romantic and financial contract bothers him.
He says, "It is the most ridiculous contract in the world. It’s just crazy.
"Without any legal advice you sign this binding contract and you are not sure where you are going to be in 10 years’ time." Cowell was accused by British newspapers of cheating on Seymour earlier this year (JUL06) with a 21-year-old model. He denied the claims.

British rockers RAZORLIGHT have hit out at organisers of next year’s (07) Glastonbury festival for not inviting the band to play at the annual English music festival.
Frontman JOHNNY BORRELL, 26, are desperate to headline the biggest festival in Britain, alongside LILY ALLEN, SCISSOR SISTERS and KYLIE MINOGUE and are hoping festival boss MICHAEL EAVIS gets in touch.
The GOLDEN TOUCH singer says, "Hopefully we’ll do a big festival next year.
I’d love to do Glastonbury. I’m sitting by the phone, waiting for the call.
"It would be amazing to headline. That’s a great, great festival. It’s the greatest music festival in the world." Borrell also admits his band have yet to be asked to attend next year’s (FEB07) Brit Awards.
The singer adds, "We’ve not been asked to perform yet. I think it’s about our time for that. We’re due it anyway."

Hip-hop mogul JERMAINE DUPRI has confirmed reports he has left Virgin Records, but insists he made the decision to leave.
Fox News columnist ROGER FRIEDMAN claimed Dupri had been ‘forced out’ of his position as Head of Urban Music at the label after disappointing sales of his girlfriend JANET JACKSON’s latest album 20 YO.
However, Dupri says, "Since there are so many rumours running rampant about my position at Virgin Records, I feel that it is necessary to set the record straight.
"I was not forced out of the company, I made a decision that it was in my best interest to leave." Dupri was partially credited with relaunching MARIAH CAREY’s comeback with her THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI album last year (05), and also produced USHER’s best-selling disc CONFESSIONS.

The long delayed GUNS N’ ROSES album CHINESE DEMOCRACY is absolutely "mind-blowing", according to former SKID ROW singer SEBASTIAN BACH.
The album, which has been in the making since 1997, was given its full playback at a September (06) party hosted by frontman AXL ROSE - the only remaining original member - at his mansion in California.
Bach, who is opening for the legendary group on their current (OCT06) tour of North America, says, "It was mind-blowing. It’s a very cool album - it’s bada*s with killer screams, killer guitar riffs, but it’s got a totally modern sound.
"The word for it is ‘grand’. It’s f**king epic. (Axl)’s reinvented himself yet again.
"There’s this one song called SORRY, that’s almost like doom metal with Axl singing really clean over this grinding, slow beat that is f**king mean. I cannot get it out of my head." Chinese Democracy is rumoured to hit stores on 21 November (06), although the band’s manager MERCK MERCURIADIS has declined to confirm this.
He says, "I don’t know that we will announce a release date. You might just walk into your record shop one Tuesday and find it there."

MICHAEL JACKSON is facing another legal battle regarding his children after his recent settlement with ex-wife DEBBIE ROWE - an Englishwoman has filed papers claiming she is the mother of his three kids.
NONA PARIS LOLA JACKSON filed papers in Los Angeles on Friday (20OCT06) alleging she is the biological mother of PRINCE MICHAEL, nine; PARIS MICHAEL KATHERINE, eight; and PRINCE MICHAEL II (BLANKET) and not Rowe.
Jackson and Rowe settled a three-year custody battle last month (SEP06), after the former nurse sought to reinstate her parental rights to Prince Michael I and Paris, which she voluntarily gave up following her divorce in 2001. The outcome of that settlement has not been disclosed.
Jackson has never revealed the mother of his youngest child, Blanket.
However, Nona claims she has known the THRILLER hitmaker since he was a teenager and has had a sexual relationship with him. In the documents, she insists Rowe or Jackson’s first wife LISA MARIE PRESLEY never had sexual relations with the pop star.
London-based Nona, a self-proclaimed ‘black Jew born in Britain’, also claims she has written over 3,000 songs for Jackson.

Studio bosses behind new LEONARDO DiCAPRIO movie BLOOD DIAMOND are under renewed fire from critics with fresh allegations improper safety precautions on set cost a special-effects man his hand.
The controversial film, which has already been slammed by the diamond industry and faces charges of amputee exploitation from a South African extra, is in further trouble after a movie source told PageSix.com special-effects man EDWARD VISAGE lost his hand while handling an explosive device called a squib.
The source says, "Warner Brothers was too cheap to bring in a special-effects guy from the US. They used a local guy, and there was an accident and the guy lost his hand.
"It’s ironic because they also brought in orphans for extras who had lost their limbs from machete-wielding rebel soldiers in the war - and this guy lost a hand on set." But a spokesperson for the studio retorts, "Warner Brothers takes the safety of its cast and crew very seriously. That is why we have comprehensive procedures in place during production and provide necessary assistance and compensation when accidents do happen. We regret that this incident took place." The movie depicts the horrors of the 1990s Sierra Leone civil war over control of lucrative diamond mines.
Earlier this week (23OCT06), a movie extra told PageSix.com that he and 27 other amputees who appear on the film are still awaiting the prosthetic limbs promised by the studio.
