FOXY BROWN SENTENCED TO PROBATION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:45 pm

LATEST: Raunchy rapper FOXY BROWN was sentenced to three years’ probation for assaulting two manicurists in a New York City court today (24OCT06).
The hip-hop star, real name INGA MARCHAND, originally pleaded guilty in August (06) to kicking and smacking employees of Manhattan’s Bloomie Nails in August 2004, but attempted to change her plea when she realised her sentence would involve the lengthy probation, during which she’d have to undergo drug testing and attend anger management classes.
In court today, Marchand claimed she had been rushed when she made her guilty plea agreement, and insisted, "I’m innocent." Manhattan Criminal Court Judge MELISSA C JACKSON said, "The purpose of a reargument is not to let the parties go over issues that have already been decided." Judge Jackson warned the CHYNA DOLL hitmaker she could face a year in jail if she did not abide by her probation terms.
