ANISTON TAKES TO THE STAGE FOR CHARITY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 7:54 pm

JENNIFER ANISTON made her Broadway debut last night (23OCT06) when she joined ROSIE PEREZ in a one-off production at a benefit theatre show.
Aniston played a single woman looking for love in THREE GIRLS AND BOB alongside Perez, LYNN WHITFIELD and DAVID CROSS in New York City’s Times Square.
The 10-minute production and five other plays were conceived, written, rehearsed and performed during Monday for the Sixth Annual 24 Hour Plays, which raises money to bring arts education to local schools.
WHITE MEN CAN’T JUMP star Perez enthuses, "We had a real boost from Jennifer Aniston. She was as sweet as pie. I really appreciated her coming because she raised the profile of tonight’s event and that is going to help so much. She didn’t have to do this. She didn’t have to take time out of her schedule.
"The 24 Hour Plays people approached her and she said yes. But when she found out about Working Playground, she was over the moon. She said, ‘I’ll do all the press. I’ll do whatever you want.’" Other actors participating in the fundraiser include ANNA PAQUIN, KIERAN CULKIN, JULIANNA MARGULIES, SAM ROCKWELL, ELIZABETH BERKELEY, LIEV SCHREIBER and FISHER STEVENS.
