‘DOG’ CHAPMAN’S MEXICAN CASE ON HOLD
LATEST: Reality TV star DUANE ‘DOG’ CHAPMAN’s is delighted Mexican authorities are starting to listen to his side of the story, following his arrest last month (14SEP06) for illegal bounty hunting.
The Hawaii-based star of DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER, his son LELAND and another associate were arrested in Mexico last month on a warrant following Chapman’s capture of convicted rapist ANDREW LUSTER in June 2003 in Mexico, who had skipped bail in the United States.
However, bounty hunting is a crime in Mexico and Chapman has been accused of conspiracy and the illegal detention of Max Factor heir Luster, who is currently serving a 124-year prison term in the US.
At a press conference yesterday (20OCT06), Chapman said, "The tide is changing a little bit… If it comes out right, would I do it again? You damn right." Chapman said his lawyer WILLIAM BOLLER has spent the past month in Mexico and has managed to persuaded the Mexican federal court to grant an order to halt the case against Chapman until further evidence is found.
Reflecting on the night he spent in a Mexican jail following his arrest, the 53-year-old hardman said, "Jails are truly man-made hells. I’m too old to be traumatised, but it’s right next to that. It’s just incredible."

Duane “Dog” Chapman took a wanted, convicted serial rapist down in Mexico. A post arrest search of the scumbag’s hotel room found a video camera, a rape kit, a large amount of the date rape drug GHB, (the same drug he gave to his American victims,) and a book of Spanish pick-up lines!!
Yeah… maybe he just went there to work on his tan!
The Mexican government clearly has no appreciation for the fact that Dog stopped a monster from preying on THEIR women, and the US government, for some reason, is obviously trying to suck up to this corrupt country, which refuses to extradite the drug dealers, rapists and murderers that they harbor over there. (for mucho pesos, no doubt!)
Dog, Leland and Tim Chapman are heroes. And if these politicians, and even members of the public that are too stupid to understand that the Chapmans deserve medals, not a Mexican jail for grabbing that slime Luster, then consider this:
Any one that condones the violation of Dog’s constitutional rights forgets the fact that YOU could be next!
When Condoleezza Rice has to decide on the Chapman extradition matter, I hope she remembers that she serves the American citizens, not the Mexican government, and tells Mexico: No Way Jose’!!
FREE THE DOG!!
