Actor JOEY LAWRENCE and talk show host JERRY SPRINGER were the bottom two contestants, but were both allowed to continue in the contest.
Host TOM BERGERON said the reprieve is because of country singer Sara Evans’ withdrawal due to her impending divorce.
Actress MONIQUE COLEMAN, actor MARIO LOPEZ and ex-US National Football League star EMMIT SMITH will also be back next Tuesday (24OCT06).
Votes from this week will be added to next week’s and the totals will be combined.

LATEST: MADONNA has been slammed by one of Britain’s biggest adoption services for picking a Malawian child "as you would sherbet in a sweet shop".
The pop superstar and her husband GUY RITCHIE were granted interim adoption of 13-month-old DAVID BANDA on Tuesday (17OCT06), moments before he was flown out of the southern African country to live with the couple in London.
But NICK GLANVILLE, project manager for adoption service Londonkids, has accused the singer of setting a bad example to other wannabe parents.
He says, "It seems so sad there are thousands of kids in the UK in need of a home and they are being ignored in preference of fast-track adoption further afield.
"She has set a terrible example by bypassing red tape in Britain to get what she wants. She should have looked closer to home.
"Adoption is not about picking and choosing a kid as you would sherbet in a sweet shop. A child is not a fashion accessory.
"Sadly, celebrities such as Madonna, who waltz off to orphanages abroad to pick a designer baby to complete their picture-perfect family, make other prospective parents think they should do the same."

EMMANUELLE star SYLVIA KRISTEL is to be the subject of a new documentary which will chronicle her drug addiction and her cancer battle.
The Dutch actress shot to fame as the lead in the soft-porn series of films and then disappeared almost as quickly.
Following the release of her biography, NAKED, last month (SEP06), Dutch documentarian MICHIEL VAN ERP is planning to tell her story in a new film.

Oscar winner RUSSELL CROWE is to star in a new cricket epic about the fabled 1932-33 Ashes series between Australia and England.
Crowe is slated to play Aussie captain BILL WOODRUFF in the film THE BLOODY ASHES, which will be produced by Brit movie-maker MATTHEW VAUGHN.
Former Aussie soap star-turned-pop singer HOLLY VALANCE has signed on to play legendary cricketer DON BRADMAN’s wife JESSIE in the project, according to website Moviehole.net.
Producers are said to be scouting cricket clubs to find a young actor to play Bradman.
Co-writer PETER CLIFTON says, "We want good actors who can play cricket properly, so we can achieve the authenticity needed for the film." Other actors being sought for the movie include someone to play English captain DOUGLAS JARDINE and his star bowler HAROLD LAWFORD.
The fabled Ashes clash has already been turned into a hit TV mini-series 1984’s BODYLINE.

Los Angeles-based designer JEFFREY SEBELIA was crowned the winner of the third season of US reality fashion competition PROJECT RUNWAY during the show’s finale on Wednesday night (18OCT06).
The 36-year-old was up against fellow designers LAURA BENNETT, ULI HERZNER and fan favourite MICHAEL KNIGHT, when the group staged presentations during New York Fashion Week.
The contestant’s fashion show presentations were taped in September (06) and the winner was finally announced last night (18OCT06).
Sebelia said, "I’m shocked. My brain is trying to figure out exactly what’s happening." Sebelia had been under investigation by show executives for possibly outsourcing his designs, but was cleared of any wrongdoing.
Judges for the competition included supermodel and host HEIDI KLUM, designer MICHAEL KORS, Elle magazine fashion director NINA GARCIA and Fashion Week executive FERN MALLIS.
Klum told Sebelia, "We love what you did. You have great style. You’re a great designer and we want to see more of you." Sebelia will receive $100,000 (£555,000) in start-up money to help launch his own fashion line, a new car and a mentorship with INC International Concepts sportswear at Macy’s department store.

Famed fashion designer GIORGIO ARMANI will design KATIE HOLMES’ dress for her upcoming wedding to TOM CRUISE.
Although no official wedding date has been announced, media reports have suggested the couple will marry in Italy sometime next month (NOV06).
ROD MANLEY, Director Of Public Relations And Media Planning for Armani tells American publication Us Weekly, "I can confirm that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have asked Giorgio Armani to design their official wedding attire for their upcoming marriage." The spokesman added that an Armani photographer will be taking pictures at the wedding, along with photographers hired by Cruise.
Fashion bible Women’s Wear Daily claims Armani has designed five different outfits for Holmes for various events taking place on the wedding weekend.
Holmes has said she was looking for "something sheer and floaty" to wear for her nuptials.

The Los Angeles venue THE DOORS put on the rock map in the 1960s is set to open its doors for fans of the group to mark its induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
Fabled club the Whisky A Go Go is to be honoured by the Hall Of Fame trustees with a plaque ceremony on 8 November (06) and venue bosses are turning their haunt into a Doors tribute museum for the night to pay tribute to the act that made the place famous.
The Doors launched their career at the Whisky in the summer of 1966, where they played as the house band.
Activities for the evening of the honour will include the signing of the book THE DOORS BY THE DOORS - the first authorised autobiography of the band.
Bandmates RAY MANZAREK, ROBBY KRIEGER and JOHN DENSMORE will then unveil the Whisky A Go Go plaque.
Curators of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame And Museum will also unveil a teaser version of a Doors exhibit, BREAK ON THROUGH - THE LASTING LEGACY OF THE DOORS, which will serve as the museum’s major presentation of 2007, marking the group’s 40th anniversary.
The Whisky A Go Go’s Landmark Plaque, commemorating its contribution to rock ‘n’ roll history, is the first such dedication of a historic locale by the Hall Of Fame outside of the museum’s home city of Cleveland, Ohio.

A new Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame tribute to rockers THE CLASH will feature splinters from the bass guitar PAUL SIMONON is seen smashing on the cover of the group’s landmark LONDON CALLING album.
The REVOLUTION ROCK: THE STORY OF THE CLASH exhibition, which runs from Saturday (21OCT06) until next spring (07), also features clothing and handwritten lyrics - and has left guitarist MICK JONES contemplating his own mortality.
He says, "It’s a bit of a heavy one, actually. When you get to the museum level, you’re usually dead, aren’t you? It’s like a little bit of a crisis.

LATEST: Troubled country star SARA EVANS’ former nanny has passed a televised lie detector test set up to prove she did not have an affair with the singer’s husband.
Evans named ALISON CLINTON in divorce papers she filed last week (ends13OCT06) and the singer’s former friend was quick to go public and damn the accusations she was among the causes of the marriage split.
Asking for Evans to publicly retract her claims and remove her name from the divorce documents, Clinton offered to take a scientific lie detector test in front of TV cameras in a bid to prove she was telling the truth.
KENDALL SHULL, the lie detector expert who conducted the test, insists the results conclude that there was "no deception indicated." Footage from the test will air on US TV news shows like EXTRA and THE INSIDER today (19OCT06) and tomorrow (20OCT06).

SHARON OSBOURNE is removing a gastric band that helped her lose a massive amount of weight and will instead rely solely on psychotherapy to cope with her eating issues.
The 54-year-old wife and manager of rocker OZZY OSBOURNE had the surgery in 1999 and subsequently lost 125 pounds (57 kilograms).
She tells American publication People, "I have to figure out why I do what I do to myself. I think I have some sort of self-destruction button." Osbourne plans to have the band removed in December (06), when she returns to the US from Britain.
Though the band is designed to limit food intake by squeezing down the stomach’s capacity, she gained 15 pounds (seven kilograms) this year (06) from overeating.
She adds, "I keep trying to eat more and more…I’m a pig!" Osbourne claims she has indulged in "chocolate, French fries and junk food" instead of sticking to the nutritious diet required of gastric-band patients.
She says when she eats too much, "You throw up…then you eat more." Osbourne claims her three children, AIMEE, KELLY and JACK are supportive of her decision to have the band removed.
She adds, "My kids, their whole life, have seen me struggle with weight. They say, ‘Now you need to spend time on your head.’"

Grammy Award winner TONI BRAXTON stunned fans during a recent concert at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, Nevada when she broke down in tears while discussing her autistic son.
The UNBREAK MY HEART singer is married to musician KERI LEWIS and they have two sons, DENIM COLE, four, and DIEZEL KY, three.
A source tells MSNBC’s The Scoop, "She was dedicating I WANNA BE (YOUR BABY) to her son, and then she said something about how people have warned her that she shouldn’t talk about it, but said that he was autistic, and then she started crying and rushed off stage. It was very emotional." Fans were moved by Braxton’s honesty and have shown a tremendous amount of support.
One fan, who also has an autistic child, wrote to the star saying, "Please don’t lose heart. You’ll see great improvements with your little one. May God bless you and bring your little one around soon."

PETER GABRIEL will not be taking part in the upcoming GENESIS reunion, although he refuses to rule out reforming with his former bandmates sometime in the future.
Gabriel, who replaced as the British band’s frontman by drummer PHIL COLLINS when he left Genesis in 1976, is instead concentrating on his solo career.
He says, "There were conversations and I decided not to be a part of it.
"I’m very happy for them. It’s not that I’ve ruled it out, but I’ve got some new material that I’ll be working on." Collins and fellow Genesis veterans MIKE RUTHERFORD and TONY BANKS will reunite next year (07) to embark on a tour of the US and Europe.

EVAN RACHEL WOOD was blown away when BONO made his cameo appearance in new movie ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, because the U2 singer acted nothing like a rock superstar.
The 19-year-old plays a young woman swept along by the world-changing 1960s and much of the movie is accompanied by famous BEATLES tracks, and a host of stars including JOE COCKER and EDDIE IZZARD make small appearances.
But Wood was most taken with Bono, because she never thought he would be so friendly.
She tells MTV, "(That day) was really unreal for all of us. We were very surprised by how down-to-earth he was.
