PRESIDENT FORD HOSPITALISED AGAIN
LATEST: Former US President GERALD FORD has been hospitalised again for medical tests. The 93-year-old was admitted to Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California today (12OCT06). According to his spokeswoman PENNY CIRCLE, Ford is doing well. She did not disclose the nature of the tests.
Ford underwent heart procedures this summer at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, then returned to his home near Palm Springs, California.
He received an implantable cardiac pacemaker to regulate his heartbeat and underwent angioplasty, with stents of his coronary arteries to increase blood flow.
