Model/actress SIENNA MILLER was brought down to earth on Saturday (07OCT06) when security guards at a Pennsylvania bar refused to let her drink in the establishment.
Bouncers at Young’s Tavern in Pittsburgh were unconvinced the 24-year-old blonde was old enough to drink in the bar - despite being three years over the legal drinking age of 21.
Tavern owner PENNY FOLINO tell the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper, "Sienna ripped off her hat and said, ‘I am Sienna Miller. I am a famous actress!’" Miller attempted to enter the drinking spot for 30 minutes, but eventually gave up.
Security member DAN KOVACS says, "She was going crazy out there, stomping her feet. Folino said, ‘No ID, no entry - I’m sorry, we can’t bend the rules for anybody.’" Miller isn’t very popular with residents of Pittsburgh after referring to the city as "s**tsburgh" in a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

Oscar-winning director ROMAN POLANSKI has brought his musical DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES to Berlin, Germany.
The ROSEMARY’S BABY movie-maker, 73, started rehearsals for the play yesterday (11OCT06) in the German capital, after presenting the cast of the show to the press.
The Berlin premiere will take place on 10 December (06) at the Theater des Westens - nine years after its world premiere in Vienna, Austria in 1997.
Polanski said, "I made my first visit to Berlin many years ago. The city was still in ruins back then. I came back after a long time, when I filmed THE PIANIST.
"Berlin was unbelievably inspiring for me, especially these many young people. Berlin is the best place for artists, culture and architecture. And of course for the theatre. I love the Theater des Westens, it’s the best place to stage the play." The musical is based on Polanski’s 1967 film THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS, in which he also starred as the vampire killer’s assistant ALFRED.

LATEST: Disney bosses have hit out at reports they’re planning to kill off ORLANDO BLOOM in the fourth PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN installment, insisting the story is completely unfounded.
According to British newspaper reports, Bloom’s character WILL TURNER is deemed "not necessary" to the sea-faring saga, although his castmates KEIRA KNIGHTLEY and JOHNNY DEPP are unaffected by the cutbacks.
However, a representative for the film tells moviehole.net they haven’t even agreed on a fourth movie, let alone the cast.
He says, "We are working closely with Disney and want you to know that while we cannot comment on specific plot points, such rumours are completely unfounded."

Heavyweight rocker MEAT LOAF is amazed he is still alive, after surviving three near-death experiences and nearly suffering a heart attack on stage. The BAT OUT OF HELL hitmaker was once sitting in the back seat of a car that rolled off the road after hurtling too fast round a bend, leaving him unable to travel in the back of a car ever again.
Meat Loaf, real name MARVIN LEE ADAY, was also hit on the head by a 12 pounds (5.4 kilograms) shot put during a sports session at high school. He reveals, "I was standing 62 feet away with my back turned, warming up and there was no way anyone thought it would be tossed that far.
"But the guy who hit me was the champion of Dallas. Everyone else was throwing them about 30 feet." But Meat Loaf says his most frightening near-death experience was also the most recent.
He says, "The worst incident was in 2003 when I had Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome (a rapid heart rate). I thought I’d had a heart attack on stage."

The latest star of SIR ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER’S musical THE SOUND OF MUSIC is predicting bad reviews for her performance in the hit show.
Actress CONNIE FISHER, won the lead part after competing in British TV talent show HOW DO YOU SOLVE A PROBLEM LIKE MARIA? While she is aware the show has "never had good reviews" anyway, she is convinced she will be under extra scrutiny thanks to her reality TV success.
The previously unknown 23-year-old says, "I’ll definitely be under the watchful eye of the audience.
"But apparently The Sound of Music never has good reviews so that’s a relief".

THE FRATELLIS frontman JON FRATELLI and OASIS’s NOEL GALLAGHER’s bodyguard nearly came to blows after the singer thought the minder was trying to attack his girlfriend.
The rising British star was convinced he spotted Gallagher’s security guard attempting to hit his girlfriend over the head with a camera at a gig on the Spanish island of Ibiza this summer (AUG06).
But he soon realised he was actually trying to stop it from hitting her, and spent the rest of the evening grovelling to him.

Michael R. Scott, an attorney at Callenders and Co. in Nassau, was representing the Playboy Playmate following the sudden death of her son, Daniel, on September 10.
Scott said: “We have terminated representation of Anna Nicole Smith because of differences that have arisen in relation to strategy and matters arising out of the death of Daniel Smith.” Anna Nicole hired Scott after her 20-year-old son passed away in her hospital room, three days after she gave birth to her baby daughter Dannie Lynn on September 7.
A private pathologist - hired by the Smith family - has said that Daniel died as a result of cardiac dysrhythmia, caused by a lethal cocktail of drugs.
Despite these findings, police in the Bahamas are planning to launch their own official investigation into the death.
Meanwhile, Anna Nicole’s lawyer, Howard K. Stern, has claimed he is the father of Dannie Lynn.
He told US talk show Larry King: “She is the one thing that is really keeping her going. And through it all, even with all the pain, Anna Nicole has been a great mom.” Stern and Anna Nicole declared their love for one another with a private commitment ceremony onboard a catamaran off Nassau in the Bahamas, but there was no official marriage certificate.

According to reports, the country’s Cultural Ministry decided the rapper’s songs “contain too much vulgar language” and they wanted to “protect local hip-hop fans”.

This isn’t the first time the Chinese authorities have censored a Western pop performance.
In April, The Rolling Stones were allowed to rock Shanghai but only after government officials dictated which songs they could perform.

A car carrying ANGELINA JOLIE knocked down a teenage motorbiker in Pune, India on Wednesday night (11OCT06).
The actress was sitting reading in the backseat of the Toyota Qualis when it collided with 19-year-old MITTAL RAWAT as her driver was attempting to escape pursuing paparazzi.
Luckily Rawat escaped with only minor bruises, but reported the incident to local police after the driver continued driving and did not stop to check if he was hurt.
Rawat tells the Indian Express newspaper, "Two vehicles were also proceeding in the same direction and tried to overtake me. One of the vehicles brushed against my motorcycle and I fell down. Both the vehicles sped away without stopping." Senior police inspector GOVIND PAWAR says the driver may be charged with rash and negligent driving, adding, "It is a serious offence and the driver can be arrested if found guilty." Jolie and boyfriend BRAD PITT are in India filming A MIGHTY HEART, an adaptation of MARIANE PEARL’s book about her late husband, Wall Street journal reporter DANIEL PEARL, who was murdered by Islamic extremists in Pakistan in 2002.
