The ‘Halloween’ actress has decided to stop making films to spend more quality time with her husband, actor Christopher Guest and their two adopted children, Anne, 20, and ten-year-old Thomas.
She told Access Hollywood: "I’m not an actor anymore. I don’t imagine I’ll do that again. I’m just focused on my family and just can’t imagine anything that’s going to pull me away from them right now." Jamie, 47, has starred in a host of hit Hollywood films, including ‘True Lies’, opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, ‘A Fish Called Wanda’ with British actor John Cleese and more recently ‘Freaky Friday’ alongside Lindsay Lohan.
She first shot to fame in John Carpenter’s cult horror film ‘Halloween’ in 1978 before going on to appear in 1983 comedy ‘Trading Places’, which also starred Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd.
