CURTIS IN TOUCH WITH FEMININE SIDE
Veteran actor TONY CURTIS is completely in touch with his feminine side, and insists he personally picked his dresses on the set of 1959 movie classic SOME LIKE IT HOT.
Curtis, the 81-year-old father of actress JAMIE LEE CURTIS, starred opposite the late MARILYN MONROE as a cross-dressing musician in the film, and raised eyebrows with his serious stance on female fashion.
He recalls, "I knew exactly what to do. I picked my dresses myself because I had a very clear idea of the kind of woman I’d like to be.
"Maybe I turned out a little angular and not bosomy enough - but when I finally looked at myself as JOSEPHINE, I felt I made a very good-looking woman."
